  • damn thats old, I'm running 10.04 on my pc.

  • do you have to pay to get that version?

  • It's Xubuntu 6.06 not 6.04. See the welcome screen at 4:00 which says "Welcome to Xubuntu 6.06".

  • This is Xubuntu 6.06 LTS, not Xubuntu 6.04.

  • I'm thinking about making the jump to Xubuntu after XP becomes unsupported. Is there a learning curve to this distro? Should I follow documentation for Ubuntu when using it?

  • yes and no, you might want to use ubuntu material for refrence, but when it comes down to it. use xfce or xubunuts material.

  • does this work with only 248 mb of ram

  • Xubuntu don't work on my HP a310n PC.Anyone know why?

  • you downloaded the image and burned it to a cd then ran it on your computer right?

  • I just installed Xubuntu on an old PC that doesn't have internet access. Can someone please tell me how to unlock MP3 use on Xubuntu with out internet? Thank you!

  • Use automatix, aptget install automatix, get help to automatix, with automatix you install codecs, msn and etc. good luck, suerte.

  • I don't think he has internet access...

  • I think you might have to take your pc to a friends house...

  • it is not "locked!!" for legal reasons mp3 is patented and hence cannot be included with any free Linux distro! anyway, you just have to get a mp3 installer (*.deb) file. i honestly have no idea where/how though.
