you can train your abs every day if you like. they recover fast.doasmuch as you want, try many different exercises and find out what's best for you. take care of your back when doing situp-like exercises - don't overstretch
i think u shud know that only 5% of gaining great abs are to do with ab exercises the rest is down to cardio and how much fat you have on your body so working out your abs once a week hard and doing cardio around 5 times a week will get u amazing abs
