Very easy strategy to beat him:

I beat him with two characters but you can do it also with four maybe easier for you.

All what you must do is chose Celes in your fighting party when you face Kefka and set the comment Runic. So when Kefka use magic moves they drawn in mp for Celes. Let your other characters attack him and yo can win this:)

if i was the maker of the video i wouldn't use cyan, but then again you realy don't get much of a choice but to use all your characters forthe battle, which really isn't enough to fill the partys adequetly. I killed all the advancing troops during that battle so i could level up and make fun of the enemy troops.

If I was you (I am, of course, reffering to the maker of this video), I would use Aura Cannon (Aurabolt) since it does 3x the damage.

If you want to be impressed use GAU's Stray Cat rage, it does about 1000 damage per Catscratch.

Well fought, but Celes' Runic makes it a little easier, or harder if you use Terra aswell.

But the only really easy way of killing him early is with Gau's rages.

Even on SCC!

It's almost mandatory to fight Kefka with Celes in the party, her Runic/Rune Blade skill is a lifesaver against Kefka's powerful magic attacks.

Recently did this on Final Fantasy VI: Advance. I only had three people on my team (Cyan, Sabin, and Gau) that assaulted Kefka. I won with just Gau alive with 2 HP.

Ice 2/Blizzaga will mess you up. I recommend you attack with the party Celes is in so you can absorb the attacks.
