@matthiashaenni That's really kind of you thanks for watching my #Flying into Manchester video. This was quite a complicated video to make (especially the titles) and i'm really pleased you enjoyed watching. Thanks a lot. Best wishes.
@bmwoodford74 Hi thanks for watching and I agree with you completely the 757 has a very grinding sound to the engine, great to hear!! I appreciate your comments and thanks again for watching.
@mrsradford well mrsradford you may like to have a look online for 'Fly Fearless' they are an Irish company with lots of hints and tips about dealing with fear of flying. Do remember that flying really is one of the safest modes of transport. Far less dangerous than driving a car. Once you're in the air look out of the window see the amazing scenery, try to enjoy your trip.
Flybe has a fleet of Dash 8 turboprops and Embraer E195 jet aircraft. Through their operations with Loganair in Scotland they also have their colours on Saab 340's and Twin Otters. FlyBe is far from poor in the money sense.. having acquired BA's domestic UK services. Keeping fleets to only a few aircraft types saves money. Thanks for your comment
Hello Jackd166, I am sorry, you took time to reply to my video about Manchester airport 2 months ago and I've only just seen it here, usually I get an email confirming comment made. Thank you for your thoughts, I am really pleased you enjoyed the video and the different aircraft/airlines. I am sorry it took me so long to reply.
Hi airaction2257 thanks very much for your comment and for the 5 stars too!! I filmed mainly from the concorde viewing area, which is great but very noisy with people, had a lot of trouble locating the holiday inn side, because I didn't realise that the viewing area was so near that hotel. I want to go back sometime and spend a bit more time there, looks like a great spot, apparently best first thing in the morning. Thanks again.
You can't beat the 757 for noise haha. But the A330's wings never cease to amaze me :-P, with wings like that it is hard to imagine that a huge mass of metal could stay on the ground!
hi malmo66 i really agree with you there, bth on the 757 sound but also the 330 wings, they do look good, when the plane comes in it looks so graceful for such a huge thing!
Hi 11GTOM, thanks very much for your comment, I do appreciate it. I too liked the Jet2 757 it has a nice deep sound, I wish it went on a little longer, but a little kid next to me kept yelling at his dad "There's another one taking off dad" - after watching all my tapes back, that was a little annoying. Still thanks again
Thank you very much for your comment, the Thomas Cook A330 was a nice looking plane. The Aer Arann was their bigger, ATR72 - I would have liked to have been on that one, for a nice trip to Ireland!
Watched the whole clip.... AWESOME quality!!! Love it!
