Roger is a pretty humble guy given his importance, status and influence in our popular music. I think he deserved more of a build up on that level. I really enjoy having the chance to hear Roger talk about his technology, music, instruments at this casual pace. Had the chance to meet him and Camilla backstage in Ventura County a few years ago, very grateful for that.
That was fucking far out session with Roger McGuinn. Finally, something worth something on You Tube. Far fucking out, man. If I could smoke grass with out massive paranoia, I might smoke some right now. I saw McGuinn in Meriden, CT a few years ago and he was outa sight. Fucking groovy spot from Berkeley, man. Thanks for putting it on.
What a neat interview. Would love to have him in my class! Leftie or rightie, who cares. He's a great guy, humble gentleman, and extremely intelligent. Can't think of too many younger artists with those qualities. He's the real deal.
Very Aukward to try and get younger folks to understand where your coming from when talking about the Sixties, I hope that before i die , I could meet Roger Mcguinn, been a fan of his Music and him from 1965.
Roger and the Byrds were very activist in their relationship to Nashville and the commercial country music scene. He could have mentioned "Drug Store, Truck Drivin' Man" as an example.
I wish the two righties... RM and Hillman... could make peace with the Anarchist .... Crosby. The chemistry was still great back in '90 last time the three performed together. Hard to believe it has been 20 years!
Man....thank you so much for posting this!!! It's cool to hear Roger talk "off the cuff." I only wish I could do a sitdown conversation with him....but you actually had the opportunity. You did a great job!
cool!

That's totally Beavis and Butthead's teacher. I guess if you can't even teach you end up at Berzerkely.

Truly a timeless artist. He never has received the credit (notoriety or monetary) that he deserves. A wonderful and humble person.
