Hey all, has anyone tried the psoriasis social network psoriasissocial. o r g ? A dedicated social network where a psoriasis community discuss psoriasis causes and psoriasis medicine.
If you want something natural that will put it to sleep go to ratfishoil dt com. Mine is about 98% gone now. The scientific name for this fish oil is Chimaera Monstrosa Linnaeus. It's a shark that lives 200m deep in the ocean. It worked for me and I've had psoriasis for over 13 years with psoriatic arthritis. I was taking Humera that was killing my immune system. I don't take this stupid poison medicine any longer. Ratfish oil team in Norway are awesome. They are a true God sent. Good luck.
I have had plaque psoriasis for 25 years and tried everything but nothing really worked for me. I then tried this new psoriasis treatment and it has worked for me to cure my 25 year old plaque psoriasis in three weeks. Psoriasis new treatment (no spaces) dot com works on both the root causes and treatment of psoriasis flare-ups by natural means. It involves liver detoxing and super immunity boosting, lifestyle changes, psoriasis diets and plenty of other stuff. It could work for you too!

It's caused a lot of mental health issues aswell, bascially I cover my arms up for two reasons! I suck! Can't wait for a new life......
If you have Psoriasis you should check out aiam1 you tube videos. they have proven treatment and have no side effects. They just treated a Man that has had Psoriasis for years and in 60 days was clear Check it out its worth your clear skin back. They have a 90 percent success rate.
ive had it for 3yrs now and its embarrassing when it shows under eyes and on forehead, also on knees, hips, foot (1 only??) and crack of my ass but i keep that one to myself most times lol.
I find a good bit of sun helps so get away to Espanol (ask utube to help, their loaded)
aggisdemetri@aol.com, I have had psoriasis for 28 years, tried every treatment, Harley street Doctors, NHS etc, PUVA/Phototherapy, nothing worked:
In July 2010, I visited a lady in Paphos (Cyprus) who basically cured my Psoriasis with injections, She ijected me with "Galantamine" (Nivalin) after 4 days of being injected once only it was clearing up, infact my body is 100% rid of the psoriasis but have some scars but not noticable. Im not looking for money just try and see for yourselfs
There is a product that eradicates Psoriasis and other skin diseases it is from the aiam. Check it out the medication is FDA approved and the product works. Why you mostly have not heard of it is due to the major pharmaceutical companies not wanting you to know about it. They would rather have you treated time and time again than to eradicate it. If it doesn't come back then how do they get paid. Also why would your dermatologist tell you about it humm lets think.
Most medical companies just want to treat the skin problem not cure it so that I doesn’t come back. If they did cure it they would loose huge money. That goes for the Pharmaceutical companies it’s a multi Billion dollar Business. The American institute of Advance Medicine has a patented proven cure for most skin Diseases. Check out there youtube channel theaiam1
Test studies have shown that an all natural product called "Polynesian Buttercream" really helps to heal and reverse most cases of psoriasis and eczema. The results are amazing. It's made by Orchids Of Hawaii. They use all natural plants, nuts, oils, etc. You can email them at OrchidsOfHawaii at yahoo com
@ruskishooric You are in shock from finding out and you are seeing worst case scenarios. I have had it a while. Not too severe in all fairness. The only problem is that you may have to make the odd adjustment and use lotion and look after yourself a little more. Of all the people who suffer it very few have truely dabilitating cases.
Chin up...see if a diet change, some lotion, a new soap or anything else works before you worry about turning into a "lizzard" or something?
think i found a cure for psoriasis...fish oil supplements seem to work wonders...!!!...100% gone for months now...and this is not an ad by the way...am speaking from personal experience...hoping this will help some if not all psoriasis sufferers...diet is of course also key...omegas in general seem to be essential...stay a way from cortisone!!!
I've had psoriasis for about 9 years.. I cured it by dieting too. If you want to learn more about the diet I used you can check it out at PsoriasisFreeInDays , C0M . It's very powerful and it works guys! I highly recommend you try it. gl all
Ive had psoriasis for 15 years bad on my joints only thing that works for me is k10 shots (steroid) in the affected areas it makes it go away for 3 or 4 mounts then i get more shots it works . for me
I had psoriasis for almost 10 years. It's auto immune so the only way to cure it is not with some cream or something but by fixing you immune system which is easier said than done:) But there's a lot you can do like changing your diet and reducing your stress level by meditation or self hypnosis and other stuff. The the thing that helped me most though was the information on this site: PsoriasisFreeInDays, com. I highly recommend you check it out. Hope it works for you as well as it did for me!
For 26 years I've suffered from what is considered to be mild psoriasis, based on percentage of coverage. My elbows, knees, scalp and several other places that would get me arrested if I were to show-and-tell in public are afflicted. I have completely cleared up the lesions on my knees & elbows with gasoline. I rub gasoline on with a wash cloth, where the lesions ONCE were, twice per day. I get particularly thick patches. It took the gasoline a month to make the skin smooth.
@TransUnicorn Gas is very bad for you though. You might be opening yourself up for more severe problems in the future?
I'm 29, had mild Psoriasis for about 10 years, only a little patch on my knees and elbows mainly, now It's really angry with me and started to flare up a spread like fire! I would try pretty much anything right now, lotions just don't cut it. Going to see the quack tomorrow and get some steroid cream and see if that works. Otherwise it's back to the drawing board!
hey fellow P sufferers... I started a psoriasis blog if anyone is interested in checking it out, I'd post it but not without your permission because I don't wanna be a spammer (I don't sell anything on my blog btw) send me a message if your interested and i'll send you the link.
@CrimsonTideAlabama1 humera was the worst, i had to get shot up every other week, with painful masquito like bumps after , very itchy and i didnt notice my psoriassis heal at all, did it for about 2-3 months.
@crgeta2 I have used Humera for two years and It took 2 months to clear me completely . I have had no problems with Humera and i am totaly clear . I guess different people react in different ways to it . For me it has been a total cure
there is nothing doctor can do about this, because thi is not an illness, my dad had the same problem , he spent lot of money trying to find a cure. He had it for more than ten years. he was giving up because no doctor knew how to cure him it was sad. but he found one person who cure him. this person cure him in one week. i know you might say it is not true , i was thinking the same , but when i saw the result . i was amazed. dont spend your money with the doctors seek for help naturally w plant
its too hard to have an psoriasis bec i have a psoriasis before i suffer this kind of skin disease.. but now im go back to a normal skin.im very thankful that my skin disease is cure...if u dont want to get this kind of skin disease dont stress and dispress urself bec this is the one that can have this..always think possitive and pray to god. have a nice day
I found a cure and it costs pennies wrie me at fishwitch@gmail.com I had it for 5 years before I got rid of all of it I have my skin back..I stopped crying
ive been suffering of this disease since i was 8. and now am 23 years old.so sad bcoz am a girl..but i was able to cope up with this disease..drinking 2-3 litters of water a day, not smoking and not drinking alcoholic beverages really helps a lot... and of course reducing stress... if you people would only see me..you woudnt think that i have this disease... but still i pray that one day there would be a CURE for psoriasis. for those who have psoriasis like mine dont lose hope..:) goodbless
UVB Narrowband Treatment. Living with psoriasis for 24 yrs covered head-to-toe. Only in the last 5 yrs managed to stay clear thru' uvb narrowband therapy. To keep the psoriasis clear, I use the 9 tube unit on a maintenance basis: once per fortnight (2min/side for skin type 2). Using UVB Narrowband lamp to me is a convenient home use treatment. Cleared Psoriasis in 6wks (noticeable difference in 3 wks).
ive been suffering from psoriasis for the past 5 years ive had it preety severe on 90% of my body ive tried alot of treatments and ointments and if anybody needs any advice dont hesitate to email me
remicade is around 5 to 10 thousand dollars, are they really gonna finally have something that will work and charge it that much, do they think that 7 million ppl out there like me will have the money to pay for that, this is really pure bull shit to have to pay around 5 to 10 thousand dollars

It was hard having one. I have a slight one before. My parents had to do a lot of things and strict me with my diet and stuff. A friend recommended the fish spa treatment so we went there and I saw the improvement, however its expensive..like $45 for an hour so we eventually decide to buy one for home use at Aqtropical. My doctor also recommended some medications and finally I'm cured.
My goodness, what alot of diff remedies : S Ive had psoriasis for about 2 years now and it's affecting my life in a way that i didnt think possible. Ive just started UVB treatment, which seems is gonna be a long haul. It's comforting to read other peoples stories, and to know im not alone. I pray for us all
If you still have problems you might try msm lotion available at health food stores. Msm is making my kp virtually non-existent. I have to use it in the morning and at night but it's easy.
@kookie1951 ugj its HORRABILE i did have UVB treatment and yes it IS a HUGE wait (probably 1 year to HELP it and possibly go away for 3 years) but i just couldnt wait. now i scratch my scalp and millions of little flakes fall out, onto my shoulders :( ive had it for 3 years already :"(
aggisdemetri@aol.com, I have had psoriasis for 28 years, tried every treatment, Harley street Doctors, NHS etc, PUVA/Phototherapy, had everything and nothing worked:

Clobex spray is a great medication for Psoriasis...I remember when I first broke out and my Dr thought I had scabies and gave me something for that, that I did from head to toe and it made me break out 3x as bad it was horrible..Clobex is the only thing I could find that worked pretty good.. I have barely had any crazy out breaks..I get it every now and then again, but I put clobex on before it gets horrible.
I dont mess with doctors anymore. I almost died from raptiva. Ended up in the hospital unblemished to move my elbows and knees. All I use now is triamcinolone acetonide. I also usedmethotrexate and it almost ruined my liver after 4 weeks. Yay! I'll stick with itching and whatnot.
I was taking mexotrexate? or however you spell it and tons of oinment stuff, spay, organic lotion, etc.. nothing works :( It's only gotten worse over time. I'm in so much pain and it's so embarrassing :,(( I just feel like giving up :(
if you scratch ...wash your hands...because although you can not spread it to others...you can spread it on yourself..so using oils will make it go away and scratching makes it worse..
I apologize on my knees oooh superior doctor ridemecowboy.
The progress I made can't be due to my changes in diet then.
I will stop my diet immediately, and follow your superior lead.
Tell me what to do mighty ridemecowboy, guide me through my dark hours of suffering.
Show me how I can cure myself of this horrible affliction.
By the way, I think your keyboard has a defect, the n is not always coming through, and the apostrophe is hampering, and the shift key is not working correctly either.
i do agree with u renetemp,,wot diet sgud v follow to get rid of the fungus in the intestines? when i consume alcohol, red meat, frozen processed food my psoriasis flares up, also id i get constipated it flares up, i now ensure that i go to the toilet daily, also peanuts are bad..
Although a good diet is a great way to stay healthy, you obviously don't know the first thing about psoriasis. If you did, you wouldn't write that it's not a skin disease, and all that intestinal fungus bullshit. Psoriasis is the result of an over-active immune system, where T-Cells mistakenly attack skin cells, which your body then tries to replace fourteen times faster than usual. I should know, I'm suffering from this for 10+ years now and have studied it thoroughly.
I've heard so many things and people always have a different "cure" that it's so difficult to know which is the right one :(
Sun seems to help a bit, and Ive been using a steroid ointment for two years, it hasn't done much, because i am still covered :( This problem has definitely messed my life up completely! It bugs me when some people tell me not to care what other people think and all that when they don't have it or understand what it's like. It emotionally and physically stressful!
Oh i completely relate with you. I am 20 yrs old now and ive had atopic dermatitis for 9 years, which allowed MRSA to infect my body and i now have cellulitis along with the skin problem. I can attest to trying many many of the natural cures. I am trying a product called alka vita that is supposed to be very good, i will let you know how it goes. Also juicing fresh vegetable juice, helped in quantum leaps at one point my skin was completely normal with no steroid usage.
Thanks for sharing. Glad it works for you. BUT, this is a TREATMENT... not a cure per se, albeit perhaps an effective one. That said, have you tried using IPA followed by good old fashioned bleach? Bleach is also an anti-bacterial...
I cant understand why anyone in america could have psoriasis, if it affects you bad enough move to a sunny part of the u.s. I have psoriasis but luckily its very mild i only have it on my elbows and a few small patches near my elbows. When its sunny it clears up completely but obviously living in the uk its only sunny for a few months max. There are parts of america where it is sunny for most of the year MAKE USE OF IT!
My doctor told me that spending time in the sun can clear up psoriasis completely or almost completely, this is true for me and true for everyone else i know, if it doesnt work for everyone then fuck knows
Sun does help, its the uv rays that help. Youre pretty much getting a light dosage of radiation. This is a short term solution for a long term problem. I sympathize with you because i do not have psoriasis but neurodermatitis, each one is no fun but psoriasis is especially tough. You really should try laying in the sun, no sun block (it defeats the purpose), the results will have you feeling good about yourself for a day or two.
Sometimes sun for mine works, but everyones psoriasis is different what works for one may not work for another, it is a rather troubling and irratating condition what ever you do though dont take steroid shots, they are really bad they work well, but has really bad side effects, be glad yours is only moderate, mine is pretty severe
is the steroid ointments like "dermovate" safe to use on severe psoriasis ? The sun doesn't affect my psoriasis in a good way. I generally use dermovate to control my psoriasis. Are there serious side effects of steroid ointments ?
puva treatment is dangerous but, are ointments safe ?
treatment who know me can say very and achen q 1 pq cure this once and q 1 thing for you and so you know who and Q n has n this guy knows the discrimination
ive had psoriasis 20 years, sometimes just knees elbows scalp, then times like now ,i am looking like dalmation ,its everywhere ,its very sore ,and i can actualy feel it in action.i cant explain but my blood feels hot ,and although im not stressed and i am very calm ,and relaxed right now , inside my blood feels angry. its on my face and privates ,im relaxed in cool bath of water with oilatim in .stopped smoking for eight weeks ,then started again ,wondering did shock to my body do this
Try wormwood tincture taken in drops with water this will kill intestinal parisites, these parisites give of toxic waste which irritate the skins production area. it worked for me
haveing it sucks i always feel like people are always stareing at it . and iam going to the doctors march 27 2009 and i hope they can help me but iam trying to stick with natual things
i know someone who has very dry and irritated looking skin. its really flakey and looks like bad dandruff. thier skin is pinker than normal and looks a little raw(though im pretty sure its not). this person moves slower than normal and is stiff when they walk. probably because their skin doesnt have the same elasticity (sp?) as normal skin does. im pretty sure they were born that way. can anyone tell me what it's called? its appreciated :D
This is a powerful drug. However, it should be an option for people who suffer from debilitating psoriasis.
The part missing in this clip is about rigorous testing before undergoing treatment. Most people are in safe hands because results would clearly indicate suitability.
It is licensed in the UK for about aprrox £500 per 100ml. Don't know if you can get it on NHS but will find out soon enough.
Smart doctors have said it doesn't matter what the disease, but the acidic environment that allows them. Medications are expensive in many ways. They cause further acidosis and can injure or kill people with side effects. There are food supplements that work. I have no psoriasis for years, and use no drugs. Sun will help w/ Vitamin D and calcium, but think internal fungus manifesting itself. My last blog post is about psoriasis and what to take to alkalinize. leangreencafe on blogspot
hi do u know what u have to use to stop psoriasis i use dermovate scalp application and dermovate ointment they are very effective believe me gluck :)
you cannot know what happens next in your body.try it for 30 years and we'll talk about that again...DON'T TRY WHATEVER THEY TELL YOU.MOST OF THE TIMES THEY JUST WANT TO GET YOUR MONEY.there is NO cure for psoriasis lets face it.. every solution is just temporary.
i have psoriasis and its visible on my hands in elbows in school, so i wear a coat all day, does anyone know how to get the redness off of your skin? or a way to hide it like a makeup or something instead of a coat?
maybe creams & lotions could help temporarily. but this psoriasis is part of the auto immune system of the body. once this is not stabilized or fixed, the itching and sores will still persist. i have known of a cure which has been tried & tested by a number of psoriatic patients here in the philippines. it is in the form of a natural health drink. check this w w w. Firstvitaplus. info/testimonials
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Hello Psoriasis can be cured with First Vita Plus natural health drink. A health drink that comes naturally from vegetables. A lot of people were cured and has given their testimonies as to how effective the product is.
im sure im not the only one...its just ridicious my mom has lupus and deals with the same thing!! but if i were a crackhead or mentaly unstable i would get all the help i need!!!!!! just dont understand
i do drink and do drugs but it just comes on right around november and leaves around june almost every year.. steroids worked for me but no health insurance anymore
Yep, same here, that happens because of the lack of sun exposure during the winter months. The UV rays in sunlight is amazing in reducing the appearance of psoriasis. I have mild psoriasis on my face (mild enough to pass as acne) and when I know I'm going to have to look good for an event or when I meet people I'll sunbathe the day before for about 2 hours and the next day there's almost no sign of psoriasis. It's just too bad that long exposure to UV rays is so bad for you...
That view has been reversed. They now say that sunlight is good for you. Something to do with Vitamin D. I think the goon squads of the drug industry spread the lies about sun exposure just like they lied about coconut oil.
i have psoriasis and usually get daily exposure to the sun i dont really notice anything different when im out of the sun or in im pretty sure it doesnt matter
the sun aggravates my psoriasis when i have breakouts of them...strong steriod makes them vanish...when they come back, which isn't that often, then put some more..
I have psoriasis in the areas that get least sun exposure - my hip areas (can't sunbathe nude), my scalp (gotta keep cutting hair) and under my armpits.
I've heard argan oil is so rich in the relvant vitamins that it's been proven to control psoriasis the best
There are so many natural alternatives for healing psoriasis...
no need for drugs that just suppress the symptoms and then cause more problems later.
You can check out caycecures . com to find some really good alternative treatments. Also, if you live anywhere near Virginia Beach, VA then you can visit the Heritage Store in person. I have known many people to successfully treat their psoriasis naturally. IT CAN BE DONE!!!
im 13 i have psoriasis and it fucking sucks so far , im taking meds, they have been working grae and i just ran out and docs said i cant buy them til ten days and its getting worser day by day, evreyone asks me whats that here , teachers ask me, i just say its not contagius so chyll , im to afraid to say what it is . it keeps my life so tight stuck in one place with this thing , i wish theyre was a cure for this horrible thing
meds dont work i have psoriasis and i have cream ointment and all of the dovanex creams they dont work subscribe ill make a vid u say u have it bad ive got it all over my body
that will heal within months, i also got that fucking psoriasis before, i just take supplements and medicines that boosts immune system. Within 4 months, it healed.
Remicade is great, but also very expensive. Insurance foe many doesn't help much even though it cuts the cost significantly. I still pay about $200 or so a pop. It's my opinion that drugs to treat chronic illnesses should be free. Why should people have to suffer just because that are poor.
i agree 110%...i hate my psoriasis, its all over my head and behind my ears, on my chest underarms and little spots on my back. i cant wash my hair often because the itch is soooo bad...and the creams smell weird...lol
I feel that i have had psoriasis sine i was 10 i am 23 now i have had every kind of treatment possible and there has been times where i have been totaly clear due to meds but the one thing that keeps me from staying clear is,i either not work be poor and get help from the gov. or work have money and no insurance because hardly any jobs for the working class offer insurance..and not be able to afford my meds....then flare up and not be able to work!! its a never ending cycle for me!!!
I have a dry patch on my neck its really annoying, i was prescribed some cream but it didnt work. it sucks having psoriasis because most of my class mates think its a hickey. Any body have any home remedies on helping get rid of it??? Please and thnk youu]
Well I've went through almost all of the injectables, creams weren't strong enough, it finally took a combo of methotrexate and humira before my condition went 90% away. Thing is I found that changing the meats I ate coupled with excercise kicked in and helped tremendously before I got on the last med combo that knocked it all out. Friend cured his psoriasis by completely going vegeterian so I believe the diet is the secret all dermatologists don't want you to know.
im taking the menothoxide stuff right now or watev its called. The CREAM SHIT NEVER WORKS DONT WASTE YOUR TIME lol i just really hope it goes away even though i dont think mione is nearly as bad as some pics ive seen, i just have some places on my forehead but i have long hair so it dosnt mater its also on my knees but wat can u do but live your life
i exercise all my life,i don't eat meat, nothing spicy, not even milk,i don't drink, never have, the same thing with smoking and drugs...i'm sick of this god damn psoriasis, nothing is helping.
i know how you feel man i have it aswell, but try to relax i know its hard but stress will make it much worse....p.s i have mine only on my whole face....peace to ya all
i know, everyone should take some time for themselves, stress has become number one killer...i think chronical depression and panic attacks also are not very helpful aren't they heheheh?
yes you are right it's tuf, people judge cuz they don't know what psoriasis really is.
i really do think there is a medicine out there, but it's easier to make fun of us,and judge and use us as test bunnies,or better say crash test dummies...
hi mate sun seems to help me abit i have it on my face,do exercise everyday, walk in the sun let the rays hit the patches keep your skin highly moisterised, eat lean red meat 1 a week, main diet should be vegies, salads, oily fish, tuna, sardines, olives, try herbal tea, plenty water sex lol NO|alchol, smoking, caffine, sugar, spicey,,sugary fruits, and foods or vegies, because these foods and drink affect the imune system quickly, this illness is a imune system disease,....mostly dont stress, take care.
have psoriais since i was about 9 and im 17 now, i dont feel like an average teenager because i have to cover up and wear jumpers in the summer, just to make everyone else not look at me, and feel better, which isnt fair !! ive lived with it, and you know what i hate it,i was bullied at school and everything, and i feel really depressed somethimes.
I feel you man. I haven't been diagnosed with it at such a young age like you but I know there is always hope. Have you tried a tanning bed yet or any detox treatments at home? Just message me and let me know. I've been asked embarrassing questions about mine such as "have you been attacked by a dog?" I almost got into a serious fight with another had I not been at work because of snob rude comments. I want to help you get this behind you once and for all like I have man.
I've had Psoriasis for 31 years all over my body and I was coned to going to the Dead sea by adds like this. The dead sea does nothing for your Psoriasis, all it does do is make your body sting with pain if you have splits in your skin. Dead sea salt and mud might be good for some things but not for Psoriasis its all a big con and I have met other people that have spent months there and they will tell you the same thing.
there is this liquid that i used its called (betamethasone dipropionate lotion usp) its a long name also its like alcohol but mixed with lotion. but it really helps olot ya yould ask your doctor for this it shure helps me like in 1 week it started to leave the red marks and scalp and also get this lotion name (cetaphil) it help olot.
what the hell do u mean it only flares up when u dont take care of it?its 118 degrees at night sometimes here that alone makes it bad so how can u leave a stupid comment like that?how bad do u have it and what type because the type i have flares when its hott, when im stressed, and aparently when im pregnant, so dont tell me its cause i dont take care of it,let me tell u its workin cause the temp outside is the same and apparently u havent heard of everyone is different have u
agin sry, people like me who have psoriasis dont get sick too often because the disease is and immune disease which your body tells itself theres something wrong with you and theres not, so your immune system is workin over time to fight your skin when really theres no need to. i can give my advice, try drinkin aloe vera juice and putting aloe vera gel on ur body. it helps. i took prednisone for a week and it cleared it completely though its dangerous to use u just have to find what workds for u
first of all do your research it is not at all a skin disease.....its an immune disease. i have psoriasis and i have had it 10 years over 85% of my body and i have the psoriatic arthritis that comes along with it. its a very painful thing to deal with and right now im pregnant and theres absolutely nothin i can take so i rely on aloe vera gel to sooth. but really if u dont have dont leave stupid comments
Another drug with side effects that just masks the problem, i wouldn't try this if you paid me, dont buy into medicine, theres always a natural remedy.
Have you got psoriasis too, Im covered from from my chest and back up, its a nightmare, I am raley sick too quite healthy love eating good food, so Im not sure its my diet, I have heard of urine therapy, to be honest I tryed it once and it cleared but it made me sick, its disgusting, tough choice really lol...
I toned down my love for salt, drink more purified water, toned down sugars and finally didn't care about what people think and got my but out in the sun. Steroid creams worked for me but I'd rather not use drugs to help it. I've tried almost everything but this one actually worked. Look on ebay for Therma Del Sol Detoxifying bath soak. Ebays probably the cheapest place to get it. It really works for me. I want you to give it a try just one cap full a bath does a lot .....
Just soak your whole body in the bath tub with this oil for about 20-25 min and it will detox your body of unneeded toxins. If I were you I would start out by doing this everyday for maybe three weeks and you may already be happy with the results. Like I said it works for me and my psoriasis is not very severe. My biggest patch is almost gone but anyway it used to be six inches long and about 3 inches wide! Now hard to even notice!

aggisdemetri@aol.com, I have had psoriasis for 28 years, tried every treatment, Harley street Doctors, NHS etc, PUVA/Phototherapy, nothing worked:

TransUnicorn 1 year ago
@TransUnicorn Gas is very bad for you though. You might be opening yourself up for more severe problems in the future?
I'm 29, had mild Psoriasis for about 10 years, only a little patch on my knees and elbows mainly, now It's really angry with me and started to flare up a spread like fire! I would try pretty much anything right now, lotions just don't cut it. Going to see the quack tomorrow and get some steroid cream and see if that works. Otherwise it's back to the drawing board!

Clobex spray is a great medication for Psoriasis...I remember when I first broke out and my Dr thought I had scabies and gave me something for that, that I did from head to toe and it made me break out 3x as bad it was horrible..Clobex is the only thing I could find that worked pretty good.. Try Dovobet or better yet rub Emu Oil and wash your hands A LOT!!! you can spread this by scratching...the oil rubbing works...trust me
fishwitch888 2 years ago
Not to say that you shouldn't wash your hands, of course not!
BUT washing your hands in mass excess can actually damage the skin more than help it, as it removes essential oils your body produces.
When you wash them frequently, it dries the skin.
innocentamelia 2 years ago
if you scratch ...wash your hands...because although you can not spread it to others...you can spread it on yourself..so using oils will make it go away and scratching makes it worse..

dnt be silly dude
wilfredvaz 2 years ago
This only suppresses psoriasis, which is a bad thing, because it comes back with a revenge.
Only permanent thing that helps is a diet.
You have to understand that it is not a skin-disease, but an intestinal problem, caused by a fungus/yeast, causing thinning of the intestinal walls.
Thinning of the intestinal walls allows poisons to enter the body.
The body gets rid of these poisons through the skin.
So a diet that cures you from the fungus/yeast, and lets enter less poison in the body helps.
Renetemp1 2 years ago 2
Maybe you should know what your talking about before you say stupid stuff like that... psoriasis is a auto autoimmune disease

wilfredvaz 2 years ago
@Renetemp1

I dont have psoriosis but I have another medial condition and I am sick of all these so-called 'cures'.
This drug is not a cure anyway because it only works as much as the last dose you get

I have found a cure to psoriasis
> You need to purchase Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol, cotton balls and Polytopic Antibiotic Ointment
> Wet the cotton balls with the alcohol and rub onto your red psoriasis to clean the area thoroughly
> Wet the cotton balls at least 3 times to clean the area.
> Then rub some polytopic ointment on the redness.
> I usually do this in the morning and at bedtime.
> My psoriasis has disappeared.

There are parts of america where it is sunny for most of the year MAKE USE OF IT!

danny66gti 2 years ago
Sun does help, its the uv rays that help. Youre pretty much getting a light dosage of radiation. This is a short term solution for a long term problem. I sympathize with you because i do not have psoriasis but neurodermatitis, each one is no fun but psoriasis is especially tough. You really should try laying in the sun, no sun block (it defeats the purpose), the results will have you feeling good about yourself for a day or two.
FinancialProdigy202 2 years ago 2
Sometimes sun for mine works, but everyones psoriasis is different what works for one may not work for another, it is a rather troubling and irratating condition what ever you do though dont take steroid shots, they are really bad they work well, but has really bad side effects, be glad yours is only moderate, mine is pretty severe
thomas242007 2 years ago 2
is the steroid ointments like "dermovate" safe to use on severe psoriasis ? The sun doesn't affect my psoriasis in a good way. I generally use dermovate to control my psoriasis. Are there serious side effects of steroid ointments ?

AurynOfAsia 3 years ago
That view has been reversed. They now say that sunlight is good for you. Something to do with Vitamin D. I think the goon squads of the drug industry spread the lies about sun exposure just like they lied about coconut oil.

i have psoriasis and usually get daily exposure to the sun i dont really notice anything different when im out of the sun or in im pretty sure it doesnt matter

the sun aggravates my psoriasis when i have breakouts of them...strong steriod makes them vanish...when they come back, which isn't that often, then put some more..
L13Sings 2 years ago
It's true.

Change your diet and exercise!
Bballjamal 3 years ago
I'm assuming diet and exercise got rid of your psoriasis?
1987whipper 3 years ago
Well I've went through almost all of the injectables, creams weren't strong enough, it finally took a combo of methotrexate and humira before my condition went 90% away. Thing is I found that changing the meats I ate coupled with excercise kicked in and helped tremendously before I got on the last med combo that knocked it all out. Friend cured his psoriasis by completely going vegeterian so I believe the diet is the secret all dermatologists don't want you to know.

i know how you feel man i have it aswell, but try to relax i know its hard but stress will make it much worse....p.s i have mine only on my whole face....peace to ya all
jiminhno 3 years ago
oh yes relaxing, easier to say then to do.
i know, everyone should take some time for themselves, stress has become number one killer...i think chronical depression and panic attacks also are not very helpful aren't they heheheh?
yes you are right it's tuf, people judge cuz they don't know what psoriasis really is.
i really do think there is a medicine out there, but it's easier to make fun of us,and judge and use us as test bunnies,or better say crash test dummies...

I've had it, and eczema. I just kept taking Piriton and slowly it seems to have really helped and I'm pretty clear now.

hi mate sun seems to help me abit i have it on my face,do exercise everyday, walk in the sun let the rays hit the patches keep your skin highly moisterised, eat lean red meat 1 a week, main diet should be vegies, salads, oily fish, tuna, sardines, olives, try herbal tea, plenty water sex lol NO|alchol, smoking, caffine, sugar, spicey,,sugary fruits, and foods or vegies, because these foods and drink affect the imune system quickly, this illness is a imune system disease,....mostly dont stress, take care.

Does anyone know how long the effect lasts until you have to go back, I mean, after the third injection?
And also, this wouldn't happen to cost about ten freakin trillion a month would it?
uberzach321 3 years ago
agin sry, people like me who have psoriasis dont get sick too often because the disease is and immune disease which your body tells itself theres something wrong with you and theres not, so your immune system is workin over time to fight your skin when really theres no need to. i can give my advice, try drinkin aloe vera juice and putting aloe vera gel on ur body. it helps. i took prednisone for a week and it cleared it completely though its dangerous to use u just have to find what workds for u
darejenn 3 years ago
first of all do your research it is not at all a skin disease.....its an immune disease. i have psoriasis and i have had it 10 years over 85% of my body and i have the psoriatic arthritis that comes along with it. its a very painful thing to deal with and right now im pregnant and theres absolutely nothin i can take so i rely on aloe vera gel to sooth. but really if u dont have dont leave stupid comments

remicade is good if you have the money and I mean lots of money!!! one shot of medicine is $1500!!!!! + doc fees. not to mentioned it causes TB urgh
firewind4000 3 years ago
Another drug with side effects that just masks the problem, i wouldn't try this if you paid me, dont buy into medicine, theres always a natural remedy.
madzndean 3 years ago
I agree. I am rarely sick, I think maybe this is somehow my body fighting something else I'd rather not have.
TheCavewoman 3 years ago
Have you got psoriasis too, Im covered from from my chest and back up, its a nightmare, I am raley sick too quite healthy love eating good food, so Im not sure its my diet, I have heard of urine therapy, to be honest I tryed it once and it cleared but it made me sick, its disgusting, tough choice really lol...
madzndean 3 years ago
I agree.
remorocks6748 3 years ago
How have you got rid of your's? Im trying omega 3 and non dairy at the moment, its still flaring up though?
madzndean 3 years ago
I toned down my love for salt, drink more purified water, toned down sugars and finally didn't care about what people think and got my but out in the sun. Steroid creams worked for me but I'd rather not use drugs to help it. I've tried almost everything but this one actually worked. Look on ebay for Therma Del Sol Detoxifying bath soak. Ebays probably the cheapest place to get it. It really works for me. I want you to give it a try just one cap full a bath does a lot .....
Smithpromotions 3 years ago
Btw I am remorocks6748 I just realized I'm on my other account lol sorry about that.
Smithpromotions 3 years ago
Just soak your whole body in the bath tub with this oil for about 20-25 min and it will detox your body of unneeded toxins. If I were you I would start out by doing this everyday for maybe three weeks and you may already be happy with the results. Like I said it works for me and my psoriasis is not very severe. My biggest patch is almost gone but anyway it used to be six inches long and about 3 inches wide! Now hard to even notice!
Smithpromotions 3 years ago
Thank you it looks nice cant wait to try it!
