@TaraInDaHood he's not excactly the main-character, but he is a character which has a big effect on series. u can say that he was the nm.2 maincharacter. but still he was the most loved, hounered and liked character in the death-note series. kinda sad he died thouhg. =(

HAHAHA FINALLY! I watched this vid like 2 years ago, and just thought of it and the song in the shower and had to go look it up. lol i thought the name was like autumn or something, but somehow i remembered it for just the picture in the box. This is one of the only animes i really watched at least the MAJORITY of, and it was pretty unique and an awesome suspense,mystery, thriller. This was the best tribute for it too, awesome job.

Hmmm, takes kinda long to explain =P Erll, il try to give you a short version: Rem has sworn to protect Misa with her life, and with Lights genius scheme, he makes L think that Misa indeed is the Second Kira, and she will then be executed. To make sure that Misa is safe, she writes L's real name in the Death Note, and thus he is killed. Hope it made sense =)

The only problem I had with Near and Mello was that Near seemed to work on assumptions which were almost always right. L was a much better detective and character than either but I don't disagree that they added a twist :). Just prefered L's logic based hunt for Kira than Near's way, seemed kinda contrived instead of real.
