I meant today's opening! Today's opening should be Todd (again), Tea, Blair, Cristian, Gigi, Rex, Kelly, Joey, Aubrey, Dorian, Clint, Echo (maybe), Charlie, and Viki with a couple of fillers (probably John and Natalie as usual).

One came out yesterday adding Shaun, Nate, and James. I'm sure tomorrow's opening will have Joey, Aubrey, and maybe Echo (I think she's recurring).

Ugh, c'mon we need a new opening credits again! Not just the shots but the whole opening in general. It's so "beginning of the 21st century" :P

For now they need to take out Markko, Layla, Cole and Greg! And add James, Shaun, Nate as well as Joey and this Aubrey girl! I predict by January 2011 we'll have an updated opening, if not February for sure.

The 2nd version of the v20 opening of OLTL does it for me. It has Ford, Dani, and Tea in it.  And I like the different looks including Viki's smile at the end.

@alexisfan07 That's not always the case. There were updates that have excluded newer characters like Talia, Charlie, Vanessa, and Lola, and they all had long-term contracts.

@Helena200406 Yes, but they added them eventually. If they were long term contracts, they had plenty of time to add them. They also don't like adding brand new characters. The most recent addition that was in the opening was I think Greg last year and they waited a month before adding him and the other people.

@alexisfan07 How do you explain Charlie? He obviously has a long-term contract as he has been on for nearly three years, and yet they waited more than a year to add him.

@Helena200406 I meant they wait to add new characters depending on when they get enough exits to put new characters in. Notice they added four and removed five here. I don't think Kerwin had a long-term contract when he first joined the show. There are such things as short-term contracts, obviously. That or they deemed him still too new to be added a few months later for whatever reason.
