I think the original is better than the one on the John Norum-album. Probably because I heard the Phenomena-version first, but anyway... I just think the original has the ultimate 80's feel. There are very few songs (to me), that embodies the overall 80s feeling through sound better than this one. A real masterpiece, for sure. Nostalgic gold.
yeah! Glenn sings this song on 1992's FACE THE TRUTH, I liked this version anyway! the fact that song was already recorded by Phenomena really surprised me! Glenn has such a great voice, it's good to know he quit some bad habits.
Ok.... There was a lady who was walking in the forest with her dog and was killed. If u r reading this, then u will find a dead bloody body hanging in ur closet. U will be haunted and killed by her. to stop it posti this to 6 other videos in 30 GOOD LUCK
The box set is actually pretty good to get, with several extra tracks on each... a great demo version of Still the Night and Phoenix Rising. Glenn, you are the voice of rock n roll!
@deggy01 What a load of r......! As far as most Phenomena fans are concerned, "Spam" Spence tried to jump on the Phenomena band wagon...and failed. A comparison between Glenn Hughes and "Spam" Spence is a joke.
I love that echo sound on the vocals, how is that described? It gives a song such a moody atmospheric feeling.

Alucinante, ya ni recordaba que existió esta gran union de artistas plasmados en este LP temático....
El otro día oía el Stars famoso montado por Dio, pero no recordaba esta obra de arte...

Truly a blast from the past. The 80's was simply the best decade for music. Thanks for posting such a great song.

Glenn Hughes was with Deep Purple in the 70`s and than Village People, if was the main composer for Phenomena i m surprised.
I know this song since 1984 or so. Good times and excellent music.

@dokontra you may be joking, but Glenn Hughes, was never in the Village People. lol. The motorcycle guy with the mustache name was Glenn Hughes also.
