  • Amazing, I'm speechless :D

  • Very nice.

This symphony appears as prelude in the Lute Suite in E major, in a Cello Suite, and Violin Partitta...

... And i used an organ version in my wedding, as entry...

  • mi pioace molto perchè è delicato

  • This is fantastic.

  • Great Job Doc! Wow, do I miss those days. Someday if in Michigan again! I recognize you and Francesco, good to see him as well. Your humble student - John Sanchez.

  • Very good!! But isn't this the Prelude to the Lute Suite in E major? Or is there also a Cantate version?

  • Yes, Bach used this piece (a revised version of the prelude) to open his Cantata No. 29.

  • Thanks for the answer. Elsewhere onm YouTube I also listened to the organ version. Splendid, Bach had a good taste :)I hope you still play together, it's wonderful!

  • @etjallin The piece was originally for solo violin and then got transcribed.

  • Spectacular! Bravo!! just tell me when these guys are performing againg and I'll be there!! why did that one guy bow two times?

  • Glad you liked the piece. This was a group formed several years ago at Eastern Michigan University (since disbanded). Jeff bowed twice because he had a lot of the difficult stuff.

  • Might one assume that any/all of these talented players have continued performing or teaching in some capacity? It would be great to hear more!
