I really don't see the reason behind everyone thinking this song is sad, really. I can listen through the whole piece without even really feeling the song itself. It's played well and all that happiness. It's just the song. I just don't think it's sad. It was emotional when played in the game... but that's because of what actually happened. I think I'll have to play through FFVI again.
