I am from Hermiston and my father was in the army. We lived at the depot for years until he left the army and started working for Raytheon on Johnston Island. The weapons that could be moved were destroyed at Johnston Atoll. What unstable munitions that where left had to be destroyed on sight. Stack releases are inevitable. The process itself is not the problem. The problem is the leakers that can't be moved. I worry more about what the fda allows into my food than the incinerator.
At lest their is one weapon we all what to do away with! Now if we could get rid of the nuekes but thats a pipe dream. Will have enought killing to do with all the commies.
