It's all about feel. One can learn every bit of music theory and every chord out there...but without heart and feel it means nothing. On some nights, I remove all distortion from my amp, dim the lights...and just play whatever comes through me and out of my fingers with the cleanest tone I can get so that every subtle nuance comes through.

This song just goes to show that it doesn't have to be difficult in order to sound pleasing. It just needs to have genuine feel in it.

@WarmothGuitarist You're magical, in way more ways than one :), I totally agree with your idea, because its true, my dad also plays the guitar, he generally does the same thing, you don't have to be Steve Vai to make beautiful music, as Mr Taylor demonstrated to us today :D

@XsNiPeRPi3z Thank you. I don't know about the magical part, though. ;) I can sometimes have a mean streak in me, a mile wide, and it is playing or listening to music like this that manages to setlle me down, and makes me remember just how good it is to just be at peace with things.

I like to listen to music like this to calm myself down from something as well, it works well. Not only is it cool, it's a healer, and a calmer. Again with my father, he doesn't always play whatever comes through his mind, sometimes he'll play a song with distortion, sometimes not.

But yeah, peace is the bee's knees! (Apologies for the cheesy phrase, it came to mind randomly) XD
