These colors work totally together: in fact I'd say they make the perfect mermaid pallet. Aqua tints (ranging from turquoise to purple), coral and sand (beach gloss).

Anyhow, in makeup FUN rules, not LAWS or Itten's color wheel.

You take the fun out of doing makeup (or anything involving colors) chinico68 when there are so many rules about what color goes here and what goes there. True, some colors compliment each other better but how would they ever have found that out if somebody hadn't experimented with it?

Also, she's just showing you how to make that certain look. Sometimes she uses colors that may not compliment her but that's not the point. I personally like it for a night look.The video helps with technique.
