  • thats realy nice

  • So why aren't tax money paying for the food? Why should a child in a somewhat wealthy nation have to go hungry? Don't children have rights in america?

  • I started balling when that little girl came on at the end!

  • Haha, I like how they're all black.. Lifes good

  • @wibezor

did you watch the video? i take it you didn't

    3:21 yeah they're really black

  • @Leadman1989 They are not actually in need of the benefit package, theyre white

Only blacks need it, theyre in superior

  • @wibezor

WATCH THE VIDEO!!!... the kids saying how much they like the packs and the mother saying why she likes that her kids RECEIVE the packs

why am i wasting my time FACTS don't concern you

  • @Leadman1989 BLACK PEOPLE HERPADERP

  • @wibezor

yup that's exactly how i picture you a slack jawed knuckle dragging moron lacking the mental dexterity to grasp the most basic concepts so you try to make others feel as bad as you do

im done wasting my time with you you're not even an entertaining troll

  • @wibezor You're. An. Ass.

  • GOD BLESS GOOD WILL!

  • Oh. My. Gawd. There are hungry children in america?

They're like the most powerful nation in the world, and they cant feed their kids?

Thats sad...So glad i live in Norway.

  • @ArachD206

Sorry let me fix that. They are still the most powerful, but not for long at this rate.

They are not supporting the less fortunate because it would be socialism. And socialism is against the American idea. My country has never seen anything like this.

We are least corrupted, we have best education and every child gets fed in schools which are free. Hray Finland! Hray Scandinavia!

Oh yeah and the leading party past 30 years been social democrats.

And look how CCCP are we /joke

  • @4Gehe2 Yeah, Scandinavia rocks! :D

  • @4Gehe2 Actually, the children that you see in this video are the "upper crust" of America's poor. There are millions of poor children here who would give their right arm to live like these kids do. Other children here don't go to school at all; they have to work with the rest of the family, so they can survive, & the work is often very dangerous. They're often homeless. They often live in neighborhoods, where they are in danger of being beaten or shot, by both gangs & the police.

  • @ArachD206

We're too busy feeding the rest of the world with our billions each year in foreign aid.

  • this is heartbreaking.

  • I nominate GmasterRED & podmember, below, for Most Privileged, Spoiled, Naive, Protected, Ungrateful, Clueless, Arrogant & Insensitive Persons of the Year Award. They're hopeless.

  • @tuberpie68

Thanks, friend! I know liberals are famous for how they respect it when other people disagree with them, they don't call them racist or insensitive, no sir!

  • @GmasterRED Of course I don't respect U. No respectable person does. I don't know where U get this stuff about having 2 B "liberal" 2 disrespect insensitive &/or racist people. U only have 2 B descent & respectable yourself. Stop trying 2 hid UR lack of respectability by implying that it's merely conservatism, because I respect, as much as I disagree w/, sincere, actual conservatives, like Gerald Ford, Art Bell, even "extreme" Barry Goldwater who looks liberal compared to today's "conservatives"

  • @tuberpie68

    You can't even spell. GetTFO.

  • Help feed the children. A child should never have to pass a situation like not having anything to eat. May this and programs alike continue with the good will of Man.

  • Haven't these people ever heard of foodstamps?

Anyway, the "poverty line" is bullshit. "Poverty" in America means you don't live in a huge house, rather you live in a small aprtment. It means you don't have a good car, but rather a car that is many years old. It means that your fellow citizens pay for your food (with foodstamps) rather then you paying for it yourself.

Poverty in other countries means you don't have a roof, tatters for clothes, and so little food that you suffer.

  • great people !!

  • amazing!

  • this is pretty amazing. :)

  • cool story bro

  • I didn't dislike this video because I think helping children in need is a bad thing, or because I object to this particular project. I think it's a great thing, but to me it isn't very entertaining. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure there is people who find this video both enlightening and entertaining, it is for a good cause after all.

I choose to thumb this down, not because I hate poor children getting help by some kind souls; no, just because I don't enjoy watching them do so.

  • @podmember It's not supposed to be "entertaining"; you're not supposed to "enjoy watching them". You're supposed to be inspired to do similar work, yourself. But it's clear that there's no hope that it will have that effect on you. You " don't [even]enjoy watching them do" such work, so you clearly have no inkling of how much you could enjoy doing it your self

  • @tuberpie68 You're right, Youtube is not supposed to be fun and I am bad person who will go to hell. Herp derp.

Just thought I'd try to explain my train of thought, as I said this sounds like a great project and I hope they keep the good work up, but I don't really see the point in seeing other people do good for the sake of inspiration, if that's what wanna you call it.

Preaching about your moral superiority in the comments section on youtube does not make you better than people who don't.

  • :'D

  • What a wonderful program!

  • @Taggerung81 fatty

  • This does look like an excellent program. It's nice to see. One step better would be to figure out another method of packing all of that food - there is a lot of single-use plastic that will be going into landfills once those individually wrapped items are opens and used. Otherwise, keep up the good work! :)

  • 5 people are capitilist cunt faces.

  • @IllogicalGenious

Funny, how in the most socalistic countries, people are starving, but no one is starving in America.

  • @GmasterRED Really? That's a really stupid comment. If that were true, this video wouldn't exist. Plus it's more like millions of people in the world are starving to death. And Americans are ... people are eating themselves to death.

  • The easiest solutions are those that require us to not do something. Or do less of something, such as export food.

  • That's awesome, wish they had this for college students cause I am broke as a joke.

  • @marcuelcajon dude, this is so true.

  • ... I want to help someone now...

  • They had this in my school, and even though I wasn't poor by any means, I saved all the food up in my closet then went camping for over a month only eating that food. It was pretty sweet.

  • Wow, what a fucking terrible program.

  • @GigaBoost I know you're trying to be funny but in reality you're just being a prick.

  • these are young kids who are unable to fend for themselves. the buddy pack program is amazing, they should introduce it to the many inner-city areas in the UK which also see a lot of deprivation and poverty, despite Britain being a rich nation.

  • First time I see Americans helping American children. Remember, America is hated by all, even by our own allies. Leave other nations deal with their own problems. It's time to fend for our own.

  • Comment removed

  • Buddy Pack Program is SOCIALISM!!!2 I see no production here. These minority children are nowhere near a factory, yet they expect an expensive lunch? Like Indonesia, they should be paying by the sweat of their brow!!!!3

  • @andid Charity is not socialism

  • @shaurz It's so sad you could mistake my satire as reality.

  • @andid It can be difficult to tell these days.

  • @andid It's so sad [that]you could mistake your callus indifference as [being] satire.

  • Just when I had lost all hope for human kind...I see this video and get this glimer of hope that we are all self center assholes...that theres actualy some good in the world......I actualy cried a little when seing thing video

  • Awesome program. Tear'd up a bit at the end. 'what makes you so excited about the buddy program?' 'I get to eat'.

  • It's sad that this even needs to be done. The US is more than wealthy enough to feed it's own poor. It has more than enough wealth so that the poor can feed themselves if they weren't so abused by their upper class.

  • How uplifting; I totally lost it when they interviewed that little girl. Though I did laugh at "Barbie or Spider-Man or BARBIE!"

  • This is awesome.

  • Imagine. This program would not be needed if taxes stolen to wage wars on the other side of the world and to fund the largest military on earth were left with the businesses and individuals from which they were taken.

Frederic Bastiat knew this 150 years ago.

The people doing this are great. Pity they need to do it.

  • Most of that food looks like pure high fructose corn syrup, xanthan gum, aspertame, and corn starch compressed into food-like material. With artificial flavors and preservatives.

How about some government subsidized free vasectomies, condoms, and birth control pills? No, instead let them breed as rapidly as they want and feed their children garbage and brainwash them in public schools. More meat for the grinder!

  • You have bad people, and you have good people.

  • Darwin wont like this program.

  • @Skullmatrix

You're referring to eugenics, not natural selection. Eugenics was a hitler thing, natural selection is a fact of nature. Letting the poor die off doesn't guarantee that there will be less bad genes in the gene pool, as being poor isn't a sign of bad genetics.

  • @ScissorHand26 I'm referring to neither. I stated an opinion (which it must be, because Darwin is not around to ask) that if Darwin were to be asked about the program he would balk.

Also, Eugenics is not a Hitler thing, its a Sir Francis Galton thing. He was half cousin to Darwin btw and would probably say the same.

IMO this program is great for getting kids fed but terrible for parents changing their priorities. I bet these families all have cable. No cable would = 4 weekends of snacks.

  • @Skullmatrix So you don't help the kids so as to punish the supposedly feckless parents?*doh!* Also, you write: 'eugenics is not a Hitler thing'!?! You what? What about the 'lebensborn' programme or the plannned systematic liquidation of the mentally handicapped? You are obviously well-educated & knowledgable,Skullmatrix, but what's the use of that if you have no empathy for your fellow less fortunate human beings?

  • wow amazing

  • I wish this happened in Canada :[

probably does but a different program.

wish they did this at my elementary school xD

  • I think this is bunch of do gooders trying to find a problem that isen't there. Its just so they can feel good about themselves more then helping the kids. If kids are going hungry the government should do something about it or bring their parents into court for child abuse?

  • @naz2999

Are you serious? Do you really believe the reason children don't get food is because their parents are abusive? Some people in the US are dirt poor. Holy fuck how are so many people this ignorant. Sometimes children don't eat because their parents aren't paid enough, or can't get jobs. My dad grew up in those conditions (cept in Canada) so I know a little about it. But srsly, look at some statistics you stupid motherfucker.

  • @ScissorHand26

Well i am from uk and here people get enough food even if they are poor because of the government giving them enough money to live on, and dont call me a stupid motherfucker you oviously cant put forward an articulate argument without resorting you insults hence your are the stupid motherfucker.

  • This is... wow. Absolutely amazing. For all of the hurting families. Those whom are struggling. I just can't bring to mind the words I feel about this. Being in about a similar disposition in America, to know this is going on, it's an indescribable feeling of relief.

My heart goes out to those struggling.

That little girl at the end did it for me, though.

A tear was shed from this video.

  • Oh wow this is amazing. We need one in NZ

  • @aflockofmusic2 Au contraire>that's a base, judgmental, crass, unfunny heartless comment from ABitstoopid.Nobody has the right to judge who should be a parent > that way lies Eugenics,Social Darwinism,Enforced Sterilization...in short barbaric Nazism. Don't judge or preach to the parents (certainly not at the expense of the innocent children).....give,be good,do the right thing, care ...that's what makes us decent human beings.

  • Juci Juse end other expensive poisend food for poor children is no good help for poor famelies. Give the poor patetos instate. This is much netter then kill the poor in the long term. (by the way also more cost effectiv)

  • @hexyhunter FailTroll...phore ehfurt.

  • Wonderful. Love wins.

  • but wait.. wheres molly??

  • Very few things make me proud of being human. This is one of them.

  • I'm inspired to donate because unlike other problems, hunger is a constant problem day after day.

  • Nice, but they should also check the results of their help. They can't feed so many people forever.

  • Welcome to America, land of plenty. This video makes me ashamed to live in America.

  • i love this

  • @ABitwize That's funny!..just like syphylis and anthrax,Bite-size Wit.

(Also well in keeping with a recent 'small government' selfish swing-to-the-right.)

  • nicely done, congratulations

  • 0:10 It's a mini-Molly.

  • But anyways, listen to tangent272, he has a good point.

  • My bad, I meant 8.

  • @CognosSquare Or maybe they are in poverty and have a large family. How long does that bag of rice sustain, 6 people?

  • The fact that this is needed is so ridiculous. This is 3 world antics.

And why dont these parents dont feed their children? How much is a bag of rice again $10? Lasts you a month. How about potatoes, beans, bacon? I bet the parents spend more on a pair of jeans than on their kids.

  • @ABitwize but most of them can support their children, but maybe they can't afford snacks everyday and expensive backpacks..

  • @TheRealSallads Or hell, you have a couple kids, then you lose your job. Now what? It's not that they have too many kids, it's that there are not enough jobs.

  • @BrotherAlpha Absolutely right.. No one can control that..

  • 3:37 GOOD LORD what is wrong with that kid's head? What is in the drinking water of this town?

  • Meh, I'd say no, but then again, I'm a dick

  • @ABitwize so if you're poor you don't deserve a child?

  • Acording to Americas dominant ideology these days this program is fundamentally wrong becuase it runs counter to the core doctrine of American values, ie:

    Crush the weak

    Punish the unfortunate

And yet most Americans still remember - somewhere, deep down perhaps - what it is to be a human being and can push through the brain washing they've had since birth and see that this program is a really good idea. Tragic that it's necessary but at least it shows that Americans aren't totally lost.

  • @tangent272 I think Crush the weak and Punish the unfortunate is more of what elitists & politicians hold as "values" than the average U.S. Citizen. Or at least I hope most people don't feel this way. I know I don't.

  • @mmr11027

And kudos to you for being one of those fortunate enough to resist the brainwashing. As for the views of the average American, I think it's honestly difficult to say. Sure, I can believe that you and perhaps everyone you know don't want to crush the weak etc' but then, would you be friends with anyone who *did* feel that way? How many Americans *have* been sucked in? It's an old political truism that the ideas that dominate society are the ideas of the dominant class.

  • @tangent272 You are right! Sometimes I forget because I've done a pretty good job of avoiding such assholes. You make very good points here.

  • @tangent272

How on earth can you say those are the core American values? Americans give more to charity BY FAR than any other nation in the world.

Tell that to the people of Haiti.

  • @GmasterRED

    Quote>

How on earth can you say those are the core American values? Americans give more to charity BY FAR than any other nation in the world.

Tell that to the people of Haiti.

    <EndQuote

    Hahahhahaaaha, XD

Oh, dude, dude that was pure genius, easily the funniest thing I've heard all week!

    ..

Oh, hang on, I just had a horrible thought, you *are* joking, right? I mean, you must be, no one, not even a Fox News watcher could possibly believe that.. could they?

  • @tangent272

I like the part where you refute my stated facts with a fact of your own. Oh wait, that part wasn't in your comment, because you just spewed a bunch of "lol foxnews I'm jelly lol" crap.

Why are you LIEberals so jelly of FoxNews? Look up the facts yourself, if you're still capable of ree thought. Americans give the most to charity.

But watching kieth overbite and rachael madCow won't get you the facts.

  • @GmasterRED

How much of that "charity" is military aid?

How much of the remainder is loan guarantees or other sweethart deals with American business, ie' funnelling taxpayer dollars to the administrations financial supporters and pretending it's aid in return for some of the products the supporter can't sell anyway.

After removing these from the equation, how much "charity" does the USA actually give? What proportion of GDP is this?

You've seen a number, now look at the facts behind it.

  • @GmasterRED

I don't regularly watch either of those guys, I don't own a television. I read, I do research, I've been researching these issues since the early 90's and no, I'm not an achademic or "proffessional liberal", I'm a Limo driver, crowd controller and roadie (I have 4 jobs depending on what pays me the most money day to day); in other words I'm a CITIZEN, I care about who controls my world, I don't wait to have it fed to me by some ideologue. You might want to give it a try.

  • Great, now you can be everyones mommey ya weirdo. I guess we need a new tax right retard?

  • wow I live in Missouri and I was unaware of all the poverty here

  • wow

  • 2 people be trollin'.

  • Wow this is amazing :']

  • @arpgi2 what kind of crack r u smocken?

  • @arpgi2

    U B trollin'

  • Wait, some people dislike this video? Are you self centered that you can't appreciate people helping children in need? Really?!?

  • @theson911

Since it's only four people it's likely it was just a mistaken click. I wouldn't worry about it.

  • @theson911 I thought the same exact thing and was about to comment something along those lines

  • @theson911

we watch rocketboom because the mainstream news is negative, while this stuff, on this video is true and valuable, the tendency to have these in the media three hundred times a day has an effect opposite to that which it seems to be attempting to cause.

  • @CanadaWilliam Aye, I second this. There are times I think that the purpose of the current news media isn't to so much enlighten its audience, but merely to provide it with a moving emotional experience as a form of cathartic entertainment, like tragic plays back in Roman days. But more often that not, this potentially enlightening dramatic news is laced with resentment, fear and despair. Its like junkfood for the brain. You think consuming it fulfils you, but you're left empty at the end.

  • @theson911 every video had dislikes.

  • @theson911 they thought this would be funnier once they learned about it...

  • @theson911 Maybe they disliked the video to convey that they dislike that children are hungry?

  • like likelike

  • 1:22 I would be that person

  • That's a great idea! I really like it. :) I wonder what it would take to get something like this going in my area...

  • I am very happy to see that nobility and honorary actions still exists in this world .

  • How much do reckon that some parents will steal their child's food?

  • This is nice

  • This is why i watch rocketboom

  • How could you dislike this?

  • @xbritbx every video has dislikes

  • i want to help.......but im pretty sure they dont have this in my county :(

  • There is also such a program before school starts. My sister and I donated our bag packs to those that couldn't afford one. It was a nice experience.

  • wtf, how come powerty in US?

  • @palmist81

    HAAHHAHAHAHA

poverty has always been a serious problem in the most capitalist country in the world

  • @palmist81 Do you know anything about anything? Captialism BREEDS poverty. You can't have rich people without poor people. Its a system that sucks. And to be frank, America's economic situation is still pretty terrible. Poverty isn't just for Third World countries, it's everywhere, open your eyes.

  • These people are doing great work. More people in the world should be as caring.

  • This is an amazing program.

  • =[ Sad that even today we have people that are starving and dieing, it just shows everyone's greed =[

  • this is lovely! I want to help out now! INSPIRING! <3

  • this is awesome...

  • that's awesome

  • the fact that this is even necessary in a country like america is just... blows my mind out of the frikkin water

  • @defaultuser88 yea its sad. the fact is people really shouldnt have kids they wont be able to support. great that these kids dont have to be hungry!

  • Socialism at it's finest.

  • @lma0er You're a moron. You don't even understand what socialism is. Stop watching Fox news for all of your information. This is a charity not a governmental program.

  • @hardworker424 What? I've never watched fox news, I live in Sweden, a socialistic country, and here socialism isn't necesserly considered a bad thing. I meant well with my comment, geez.

  • If you've experienced poverty, this video says a lot more...

  • awww amazingg :)

  • d'aaaaaaaaaawww

  • My school does this.

  • This charity is just amazing. It's so beautiful.

  • :')

  • *that's

  • That beautiful.

  • 11TH

  • holy fuck that's a lot of effort! fuck! in my highschool we had a breakfast program. it was set up because most of the students missed out on breakfast everyday. the bins are loaded with juice, granola bars, fruit, and milk which is then picked up by a student from that room. the school also had a secret santa thing where every full time student would get a gift. everyone. in the student body. they didn't want to single anyone out, so they get gifts for everyone, hell they even wrap them.

  • @Montork im moving to ur highschool.

  • @Montork and not 1 fuck was given that day:3 jkjkjk

  • @Montork alternative highschool? must not be a big school

  • @JASON8URK3 im not sure how big our school is/was i do know that all the teachers chipped in not only time, but also money to get that many gifts. also i think many places gave them discounts. still alot of the students came from the fucking boonies and some of them wouldn't be getting gifts for Christmas. for an example a gift may be a pair of mittens and a small toy or candy, i remember one year when i got a pack of markers and a nice small drawing book.

  • @Montork sometimes its something big like a fleece blanket... if i ever get famous or rich in any way i want to contribute.

  • Makes me happy to see that there are good people out there taking care of the less fortunate

  • so nice ! share the love <3

  • awesome
