It's really strange. Maybe I'm the only person on this world who played through Crisis Core, gathered a bunch of background info THAN played through Ff7. I can imagine it would have been a different experience to play the games as they were created. I love this game, Zack is so cool!

Cloud is 16 years old during this. Cloud survives because Hojo scoops him and Zack up (Zangan took Tifa away before Shin-Ra caught her) and injects them with Sephiroth cells, for his Jenova Reunion Theory. Cloud and Zack don't die, though they are watched for 5 years until Zack breaks them out.

But my legit favorite part was when Cloud was sliding down the stairs and he just kind of came to an abrupt stop. I lol'ed

See this is what contrasts with the original game FFVII because in it when cloud comes out of the life stream he tells everyone that he uses zacks memories as his way to make himself seem strong, and since he was never in soldier for real he was considered weak.

They tweaked the Crisis Core FMV so much that it doesn't seem close to the Anime. For starters, Zack uses Climhazard on the steel door. Then Sephiroth throws him out of the Sealed Chamber and Zack hits one of the Mako tanks. Also, Sephiroth stabs Cloud as he comes thrashing toward him and throws him inside the chamber again. Sephiroth was so awed by Clouds resistance which made the really angry Cloud throw him to the sides even after getting stabbed by the Masamune...

@mystic2689: The producers intended that scene to be a metaphorical representation of Cloud's will versus Sephiroth's, it wasn't a literal fight scene. It was meant to illustrate Cloud's will being stronger than Sephiroth's, not that Cloud could actually pull off what he did. Or so, that's what I read.

@PikaBaka101 So,cloud lived after he was stabbed right through the heart with sephiroth's sword,and somehow still managed to live after he fell a down like 20 stairs and stopped next to Zack,and then he still managed to live,even though Zack somehow died after he was throws onto stairs by the power of sephiroth's sword

Sephiroth dies by being burned by machines but doesnt die after being stabbed by Cloud and he could have just let go of his sword then kick CLoud and take his sword back

This scene just showed why I still say Cloud is better than Zack...he actually defeats Sephiroth or at least puts up the better fight...esp 3:10...thats a sign of a hero! So never sleep on Cloud!!

@mystic2689: The producers intended that scene to be a metaphorical representation of Cloud's will versus Sephiroth's, it wasn't a literal fight scene. It was meant to illustrate Cloud's will being stronger than Sephiroth's, not that Cloud could actually pull off what he did. Or so, that's what I read.
