The soundtrack is annoyingly poor. You can't hear what half the people are saying. The music is way too high in the mix, and irrelevant sound effects are laid over the narration. For example, what is the poppety-bap-bap-bop starting at 6:31? Why was the cheap mic that came with the camera used for Peter Phillips's interview starting at 4:38? Why is the female narrator speaking under her voice? Important information ruined by garbage production values - completely incompetent "filmmakers."
@Kroban3 I know that sounds good cuz you heard it somewhere, but anarchism/collectivism/left libertarianism is about as free as it gets.Capitalist "freedom"is like saying you want the "right" to enslave & steal from people.there is a collectivist business where im at, its worker-owned,profits and decisions are shared,& in a society like that we have no use for government cuz we can do it all ourselves, free association & mutual benefit w/out exploitation.
@2Jakk A worker-owned business? Isn't freedom wonderful? More like-minded people should do the same. Capitalism? You call our current system capitalism? Banker bailouts, bailouts for the auto makers and the government taking a position in GM? That's fascism. The merger of state and corporate power is fascism. BTW, how are you liking Barrack "Goldman Sachs" Obama? He is serving Bush's 3rd term. I'm voting for Ron Paul in Nov, even if I have to write in his name. Freedom baby! ;-)
@Kroban3 The way things are now, when people have a business & talk of "freedom" they mean the freedom to "rent" someone, tell them what to do & exploit their labor. With that kind of selfishness we need government for infrastructure, police to protect property cuz alot of people wont have shit cuz a few are hoarding it all with their "rights"and a military to protect economic interest (theft by force)& dont forget schools used to indoctrinate people into obedient workers (thats a fact)
@2Jakk I would never say that there isn't hope for you to embrace real, constitutional freedom but holy cow! For your world view to be enacted the constitution would have to be absolutely shredded. When is the last time you read the constitution? Give it a read and you'll see just how far down the black hole we've traveled. And Obama is just as guilty of crapping on the constitution as Bush was, and most presidents in recent times for that matter.
@Kroban3 ive read the constitution, its a document that will always be under interpretation by lawyers & judges, its not some holy relic. Not only am I for getting rid of all systems where my freedom can be interpreted, but nations as well, not a "one world government"but a "no governments period."screw obama, bush,&paul.Pual has some good ideas, but they hide his deregulation of capitalism.Deregulating capitalism has only escalated the shit were in....cont..
@Kroban3 you think your rights are in danger now, keep deregulating big business. Our government exists to protect private property (not personal or "in use"thats diff.)Everyone keeps buying into this idea that our rights are being taken, that its new.Its not,go back to any period in the U.S. and you'll find atrocities on par or worse than now.the constitution is interpreted as needed.the only diff. now are the changes since the "Washington Consensus"-a doctrine accommodating capitalism
@Kroban3 I know what Im talking about, Ive been at it for 20 yrs.You cant control power, and power contingent on property & wealth even less. You cant have a cutthroat competative economic system with a grow or die imperative w/out those at the top getting together & using their resources to stack the deck to protect & expand their power & wealth.Your "rights" mean absolutely squat,if they cant interpret them away, they break them & pay a fine.In gov. you can impeach, maybe.or vote.
@Kroban3 fortunately for most of us, for the time being,we are valuable consumers, and the U.S. has done enough social engineering to know what lines they can cross,& more importantly, how to go about crossing them. Our school systems, for instance, were created to indoctrinate people into capitalist industrialism-at the time people were rebelling hard against wage slavery. They had to use the military to force people into their schools, funded & designed privately,it used federal law/force
@Kroban3 (left)big government & (right)big business is a myth, its a codependent symbiotic relationship.Traditionally the word "libertarian" was synonymous with anarchism, not a social liberal economic conservative.(anarchism btw is diff, than media depiction)its simply a different method of organizing where authoritarian privileges/positions are not created politically nor economically-without exploitative relations, authority protectin ill gotten gains whose left to violate your "rights"
We want it, we take it. On top of that, war is profitable. Not for you and me who pay for it, but for the top 0.1% of super wealthy who run the US. You can vote, but your choices are pepsi or coke.
When our ancestors lived in familial groupings, "mind-control" was not "manufactured," but it existed nevertheless. But I prefer my interactions face-to-face within the reach of my arm.
