@hassanjin The only reason Gervinho was cheaper is because his contract expires NEXT JUNE, same reason we will sell Nasri for cheap if we were sure he would live for free next season. Gervinho and Hazard are to Lille, what Xavi and Iniesta are to Barca, Xavi has most hype but they are both vital to the team

Hazard is not leaving Lille this year. Lille refused to sell him unless they can get an outrages fee for him and I doubt Arsenal would want to pay an outrages amount for his services.

Hazard will leave next season and most likely be a replacement for Arshavin imo.

Next season sees spending capps start to take place so prices should drop plus he will most liekly ask to move on as he has done as much as possible with lille.

Only down side could be that Champions League performances could cause him to be even more in demand and therfore cause alot of competition for him.

Gervinho and Samba/Cahill and Chamberline for now =)

@peeyaw That sounds wounderful but i find it optimistic to think Arsene Wenger would spend the money to bring in Hazard, Benzema or Stekelenburg. I think he's rather settle for cheaper players. He does not feel big names equate to better squads or even better chances to win the prem and that's where he fails. However! In addition to your list, i'd add Baines, Taarabt and Valbuena

Gervinho should go to a clublike Aston Villa, who is fighting for trophies (atleast in europa league) but still can play regularly, then bigger clubs like Madrid, Man utd and arsenal will try and buy and he will become one of the best players. Hazard? He's bound to become THE greatest in a few years!
