I will have to go to see this at some point. There are no stem turbines left in the UK and this one looks AMAZING!

@7822welshsteam There are 3 steam turbine locomotives at this museum. Im gonna show more of them soon. One of them has a broken transmission, but I hope that the turbine locomotive 73 will be restored to running condition in the near future. And I guess that will then be the only running steam turbine locomotive in the world.

Wonderful posting, this allows me to see something I will never see in person. It also shows in great detail how the turbine is mounted and connected to the drive wheels. Must be nice to go and see them run! Thanks again, loved it! Post more when you get a chance!

@Tinsby One of them will be running again after we replaced the broken gearbox. And I will definently film it running.
