Billy is still awesome. Did any of you know he was born in The Bronx NY and him and his family moved to Long Island when he was four. I love the fact he was born in my hometown of The Bronx.
i know exactly what he's talking about, depression SUCKS and when I have it bad, it's like, I look out the window and watch the cars go by, then pull the curtains. At points I could barely go out of the house for the newspapers, then go back inside. somedays if I had help, someone would BRING ME THE PAPERS. and then I would not leave the house AT ALL. it just seems like a black cloud is over my head, unbelievable. I didnt want to talk to ANYBODY. I really cant believe my wife stayed w/me.
at this time, Mr.Joel had no idea that he was actually in debt, seriously in debt; thanks to his crook brother in law. 1992 Joel spent depressed and fing around with lawyers etc... late 93 released "in the rythym of the night" song to raise capital to prtotect his family from creditors...now he's rich again, but any money he made, all of it, pre 1989ish, was just gone.
Not sure what you are speaking about, but in 1993 he released the "River of Dreams" album, with the title track being the biggest song on the album. Otherwise, you are correct about his debt and POS brother-in-law.
Great song, great artist. Awful sound recording for a mass release DVD. He needed Phil Ramone to sort out the awful Yankee Stadium acoustic issues. Dig those crazy late 80s hair styles and fashions.
He's an outstanding musician but an amazing showman. I love the vocal variations he uses in the live show. Watching this video about ten times made my day. Thank you!
Awesome! Thanks for upping. Is this on DVD? He just played Shea and I know that's going to be on DVD. I don't know for sure, but it HAS to be! Y'know?

Alot of peopletalk about Joel in his prime. I dont believe that. I think this and the 12 gardens CD proves that his prime really is his life.

Wish I could figure out how to play that riff at 2:54 He uses it on this song a lot, and also sometimes during the River of dreams solo.

This was filmed on the day I was born (6-22-1990). I've been to this stadium 8 times. Too bad it will be gone after this year
