    I have a couple of questions - what tubes do you use? And - in the pictures it seems that you have built in a choke and a rectifier tube, is that correct? I cannot seem to find these mods on the homepage..?

    thx a lot

    One vintage Philips 6V6GT (tube amp) and one new EH 12AX7 (preamp)

    this is the original G5 V3 without any modification !

    I've just add a tube socket for another 12AX7 (preamp) in the futur.

    But my G5 V3 still run today with only one 12AX7 ! No rectifier tube (sorry)
