two questions. does the arpeggiator sync up? i had the n364 and it didnt sync up. also, could i use this with a DAW program and still use the sound banks from this? what DAW program would you suggest. I'm trying to make the transition from on-board sequencing to a DAW set up and i'd like a board I can still use live.
@sergion2006 oh yes man!:)these sounds are all preset, you only need the factory data preset .PCG, with all program and all sound on the machine, and the 2.0 software version on the karma.
and, yes, i stil have my karma!:) it's a very very good and powerfull workstation!
I'm looking at getting one of these. But I have a question for you about the feel of the keys. i had an x-50 before and hated the really cheap feel of the keys. Is the feel of the keys decent? I know they're not weighted but I feel that any professional synth should have better keys than the cheaper casios.
well the keys are good for me!absolutely better than X50 synth, if you have played a Tr, Triton Le, Triton studio the key in the karma it's exatly the same!but remember, karma it's a triton with a different arpeggiator!the karma function, X50 it's a triton, the sound are very similar, but obviously karma it's more power, more effects, more sound and other...
well, the sound engine it's the same exatly, it's a personal choice...i prefer karma, but, in this instruments the sound are important, not the other "games" if you need the karma arpeggiator, buy karma, but if you not need that, buy a triton!;) remember, karma does not have a SAMPLER, or Touch screen...
too bad that they discontinued this baby -_- why the hell will they do that?! its not like the korg TR is any better and the Korg Karma looks so sexy in red lol
just get yourself a X-stand with a second layer and turn it around so you can tilt the second layer to different direction than you would normally do :)

@killingdreamer Thanks for the info. Yeah, I know it has the same engine as the X-50, but with more stuff added.

What does the Karma actually do? What is it for?

Is it worth getting a Karma over a Triton Classic just to have the karma system? I understand they have the exact same sound engine.
