  • its so sad to know that our own government would put someone in federal cusody for treating their ailments that are killing them ... proven fact .. marijuana decreases the time cancer cells grow by half .... put that up your asss DEA

  • Whats is up with you????????????????

  • #1 paper #1 food #1 fuel #1 medicine #1 fiber ! end world hunger ! reverese the green house effect ! that is why we need to make it legal , for every reason ! america4hemp

  • doing great job thank you ;o)

  • I hope that president Obama will cause a change in the content of your excellent bulletins. Keep up the good work!

  • Wait, cops allowed to stick you with a needle? I would never let anyone other than a certified nurse or doctor stick me with a needle. I hope they realize this is a dangerous act in it's self. People have AIDS and other blood transmitted diseases so this is not safe practice.

    By the way, great presentation.

  • no cops are not, only way they could take blood is if they have a court order or if you were in a accident with blood everywere and a medic present.

  • Whoa! Thanks for pointing out that mistake. First, the vehicle registration wouldn't be taken, but rather the person's medical marijuana registry permit. I mis-wrote that in the script.

    Next, the cops wouldn't do the test themselves. They would order it like they do with alcohol blood tests. I imagine each jurisdiction does it differently, like on-site or in a lab. The officer is required to have the test done if it is known to the cop that the person has a permit. No court order needed.

  • Still not cool though.

  • absolutely agreed

  • That is rediculus, cannabis shows up for up to 40 days, ???? soo how could they prove that the driver is drugged?

  • I guess the test they are talking about tests for very small amounts (5 ng/ml) in the blood, which is where the drug resides when it is actively creating a "high" for the user.

    It is still very ignorant, bc they even say in the bill this amount is the place where people start driving poorly. There must be a point when driving starts getting better, and I just never get below that level ;-)

  • This is still ridiculous, Pain management patients actually turn to normal when medicated, there is nothing but a warning about those that have to live daily on sedatives, tranquillizers, anti depressants, morphine and opiates for pain management, the same is true with cannabis, even alcoholics drive around with small amounts of alcohol in their blood. 5 ng/ml doesn't produce a high.

  • You are completely right! In a study that compared doseage:blood levels of THC, the following was found-

    a) 4 puff, 1.75% THC=57 ng/ml;

    b) 10 puff 1.75% THC or 4 puff 3.55% THC=90 to 99 ng/ml;

    c) 5 puff 1.75% THC or 10 puff 3.55% THC=172 ng/ml;

    d) 25 puff 3.55% THC=268 ng/ml.

    (this is from an article "Marijuana Research: Dose and Asorption at drugscience. org)

  • And one thing you left out, everyone reacts different to the dosing, if a patient is on a regular consistent dose they in most cases after a few days like most meds, will have no effect except the pain relief, anti inflammatory, anti spasm, nerve damage relief, anti depressant, all without a "high"

  • obama will make things worse.... count on it....

  • Hi Angela I really enjoy these video, I am medical user in the UK.

    These video reports , keep us cannabis campaigners aware of the good work you guys are doing!

    We are pushing for change here, yet is is hard work, as simultaneously getting false reports in our press.

    So your reports are needed, as I get annoyed at seeing only negative reports about cannabis.

    A group of patients are protesting outside the UK Parliament on the 28th this month, great to know globally we are not alone!

    Win

  • Hi Win-

    Thanks for staying involved! This is a pretty important time in the fight to legalize. The more you know...

  • This new propsed senate bill in Montana is a direct violation of our constitutional rights as Medical MJ patients! Singling out patients on the mere fact that they are prescribed Marijuana to submit a on site drug test is a violation of their basic rights as a patient. If People who are prescribed Oxcontin, Xanax, Valium, etc were proposed such a bill, there would be national outrage. Thank you Angela for bringing this very important issue to our attention! Reefer Report For Ever!!!

  • This bill is just proof that any common idiot can get something in front of Senate for consideration. If you live in MT I highly suggest you write some letters to keep this atrocity from becoming your reality.

  • Thankfully I live in California, which in my opinion is the leading exapmle to be set for other states Medical MJ Programs.

  • You are lucky to live somewhere with MMj. Have you been able to visit any dispensaries in other states? I only have personal experience with CO and RI, but RI doesn't have dispensaries (my card is valid there). CA certainly provides for plenty of news.

  • No i havent been to any dispensaries in any other states. I have come to depend on myself for my medecine because the dispensaries which are supposed to be non profit, charge above street value for medecine, i have found that i save much money growing it myself, plus i know what goes into my medecine :)

  • Excellent. I agree with you completely about the prices. I am experimenting right now, and will see what results from that. Not sure what to expect for a harvest, but it looks good so far. Do you grow indoors or out? What medium do you prefer?

  • Great to hear youre starting to grow! I Grow mostly indoors but i ususally put 2-3 plants outdoors evry summer. I grow soil, i like mj grown in soil. I grow in a large 25 gallon tupperware storage bin, with 6 plants in it ( im only allowed 6) i yeild about 4-5 oz in the small 1.5x2.5 space that i have, the light that i use is a 400 watt hps, some of the results are on my channel. I would love to help you out if you have any questions. What are the plant limitations like in colorado?

  • I will definitely check out your videos. I like dirt too. 6 plants is the limit in CO too. I'll leave more on your vids.

    Angela

  • Thank You,

    Much Appreciated

  • Thanks.*****
