A friend of mine had been injured, and stayed in wheel chair, a bullet in his foot and ankle. He was never able to walk with me or his family. He rewarded us with freedom and saftey, we gave him love and honor. God bless him, and america.

im 15 and going to the 10th grade i am in AFJROTC and all of my friends are also. 1 of them left for the Army July 5th 2 of my other friends leave August 1st one for the Army and one for the Navy they will be missed greatly and one day i hope to join them. The man I love, who is my best friend, is a Marine and he left for Afghanistan this week, and my only brother will be leaving on my birthday (Jan. 19) for Afghanistan. Neither one of them knows for sure if they will come home, but we always pray. Its hard, but we have to be strong for them.

My brother left today. He left for a place, that he may never return from.. it's so hard to stay stronge and keep faith. I dread each time he boards that plane and makes that last phone call.. The last time we'll hear that voice for quite sometime.. Everytime he leaves, I live in worry.. In fear that it may be the last I get to see my brother.. im 15 and going to the 10th grade i am in AFJROTC and all of my friends are also. 1 of them left for the Army July 5th 2 of my other friends leave August 1st one for the Army and one for the Navy they will be missed greatly and one day i hope to join them. Being an American Soldier is honorable. All soldiers are my soldiers because i love each and every one of them they will all be missed and all will be appreciated.

The man I love, who is my best friend, is a Marine and he left for Afghanistan this week, and my only brother will be leaving on my birthday (Jan. 19) for Afghanistan. Neither one of them knows for sure if they will come home, but we always pray. Its hard, but we have to be strong for them.
So, for all those fighting to stay strong for a soldier that is fighting to come home: my thoughts, prayers, and love are with you.

my brothers best friend just recently died in afghanistan he was so proud to wear that uniform i remember him walking around in it sayin that he wanted everyone to be proud of him. it was always his dream to go serve for his country r.i.p cdc<3

ive been a soldier for nearly three years, why do most tribute videos have nothing but funerals in them? i love the idea of someone thinking of us military men and women, its not all about death and dieing tho. we train to live and live to train. then we do our job and try to get back alive to our family. those that dont are usally very close to our hearts and minds, we dont forget them, and never will. but i think it gives the wrong impression of what we do. thanks to all who support us as.

I am not anti muslim but what about the boundaries of respect for those who have lost from UK, US and Europe. First we have a mosque that could have been built in a place other than that of Ground Zero where thousands died, same here in the UK where mosques are being built that overlook military barracks, or by synagous and churces etc. Now we have a tribute to our fallen and there is a featured video here for Singlemuslims. Enough is enough. If you cant respect us, then leave us alone.

don't think they going to die! My boyfriend stay in Irag for 2 years , I been hurt , cry , depress, missing him a millions time a day that is so bad for me but I never though he going to die, he just go to work , help people over there, he work hard for US. He will be safe I know he smart, strong person!!! still waiting he , honesty just my hero only one.

My brother left today. He left for a place, that he may never return from.. it's so hard to stay stronge and keep faith. I dread each time he boards that plane and makes that last phone call.. The last time we'll hear that voice for quite sometime.. Everytime he leaves, I live in worry.. In fear that it may be the last I get to see my brother.. It's extremely hard but he is fighting for a country he loves.

@davisemili95 I say thank you from myself and my family that your brother is serving his country to keep my family free and safe. Ignore the naysayers and the haters, they will eventually get theirs when judgement is made. I appreciate YOUR sacrifice too. I'm sure it's excruciating to have your brother in harms way. Be strong and know that it's only a small minority that don't respect our military.

Best thing you could do is pray they are protected and keep the motivation to keep going. Yea we have alot of problems with our economy etc. but Id rather be living here in our great country than anywhere else. So Ill continue to be proud of our military, our country, our fat people lol, and whatever else you got a problem with lol. There isnt shit we cant pull ourselves out of .
