As an Arsenal fan, apart from Henry this man was the best striker in the PL era by quite some distance. An absolute Rolls-Royce of a front man.

I was praying that my beloved Gunners would somehow sign him in his pomp, he was what we were lacking in those days. We got Jeffers instead, smh.

With Shearer alongside Henry, Pires, Bergkamp, Vieira, Ljungberg, Wiltord, Kanu etc we would have dominated world football. He was the missing piece to make us an absolute dominant force. Shame.
