i AGREE WITH EVERYTHING YOU SAID. I AM VERY PROUD OF YOU. I'M ALSO ON MY HAIR JOURNEY. I WANT TO PROVE TO THE IGNORANT PEOPLE THAT BLACK WOMEN CAN GROW LONG HAIR. WAY TO GO.
This just encouraged me to never let my hair down until I get to my goal. I want to be at waist length within 3 years. I'm a shoulder length now. Thanks for the extra push darling! Your hair is radiant.
Do you think Olive Oil brand, Hair mayonnaise, and BB are good products to use for stretching. If not or if you aren't familiar with those products what would you recommend?
I've never use those products but I think any good moisturizing products are good while stretching. I usually moisturize my new growth while stretching w/ HE LTR or Nexxus Humectress... but find a product that works for you. The key to stretching is really just keeping it simple and leaving your hair alone as much as possible.
I also need to get the JBCO but don't know where to. I'm livin on fort irwin military base with my hubby h & its in the desert. can u help me get somd? a girl on yt is charging 20 bucks & shipping and handling is different plus i know it doesn't cost that much. I'm 4m jamaica and its very cheap their & i heard its not expensive in the states.
hi again kami, u said ur hair get dry when u braid it and now im wondering if the same thing is happing to my already damage hair. I cornrow whats left of it to wear a wig because my hair as falling out so badly around the back, has i explained in ur other video thanks for doing these tuts girl love u for it.
When are you making another vid? I love watching them....your more down to earth then some of the folks on Youtube. You care but your not consumed making up 1000 ways to keep healthy hair. Some of these women go overboad which is not natural to me.
i've been scared to use honey 'cause i hear that after a while it lightens your hair, but your color is still nice and dark, so maybe i'll reconsider
Well, it has lightened my hair up, a lot...lol but I use a rinse in my hair every 6 wks to keep my color dark. The benefits of the honey is too great for me to stop using it cuz of that..lol
i personally think that the split ends on longer hair comes from using shampoos with sls. i recently started noticing more and mores split ends so i changed up my shampoo from a sls to a sls free shampoo bar! that and a coconut oil hot oil treatment every week, ive been split end free!
That makes a lot of sense... someone else actually told me the same thing. I have a bottle of Elasta QP creme conditioning shampoo which I believe is sls free... I may give it a try for a while to see what happens... thanks!
Oh yeah if you can't get the Pibbs right now because of price and want to save try the SalonsrUs dryer post, girl I love it my sets dry in 45min on grey/purple rollers.
Your hair looks nice chica! Oh and it's funny you mention the split ends, for some reason I have to trim more often too and my daughter and we don't use heat often neither maybe once a yr. I think it's the weather or I need to start using Ego Boost again. Thanks for sharing.
Oh girl people mostly black around me never believe that black women can grow mbl or waistlength hair when I show them your pics they say that most of you americans are mixed. I am gonna grow to wsl to show them that it's possible.
yay!!! i love mizani too! well i've only used the h2o rosewater hair dress thingy but i love it! but because of the price i only use it when i flat iron. i didnt realize you went so long with out using heat!!!

Hi Junias! It's very unfortunate so many ppl feel that way, but it's great that there's a community of black women proving the stereotypes wrong. HHG
