    but the bar will fill up about 75% of the way if its done correctly

  • Kara cancelling is basically when you cancel the frames of one move into a second move whereby the second move gains the frame properties (such as range) of the previous move added to it.

    It's called "kara" (empty) because the first move that you're cancelling doesn't actually do anything. It's an empty cancel just like the previous person said.

  • try doing a qcf motion after the cr mp...it might complete the SRK motion needed to get the upkicks out...if that doesnt work then ill make a video or something on how to do motions and other stuff

  • man i still cant get it down i get it like 10 percent of the time lol and its by luck, i have a happ modded sf stick but the buttons are the stock maybe its the buttons? but i can do them 100 percent on urien,chun,makoto,necro,12,ele­na,Q, i just have trouble on the shotos and twins and dudley

  • shotos you dont rly need that for but either way it should work the same as urien and the others...the only ones that are sort of different to execute on is dudley and twins...the twins when you end the GJ combo you have to walk forward a little...and for dudley you have to rly be IN towards the corner if you want to connect it on him...but overall there shouldnt be a difference in executing it normally on any other characters...ill see about a video in a few days (school stuff first lol)

  • nice vid nonetheless! i have a lot of problems with using yun outside of genei jin and especially landing dive kick into 123. i don't suppose you'd be able to add that on your list of yun video demonstrations? =)

    real great insight into what people may be doing and knowing this stuff (not neccessarily being able to do it) makes watching the tournament videos out there more enjoyable

  • damn sorry about that i completely forgot about that infinite meter thing...as for landing the dive kick into 123...the dive kick would have to land in the middle of the other chars body...when you land from it at that time itll connect to 123...if you connect it any lower youll miss the lp...try testing it though and mix and match with the ranges of the dive kicks....and im glad this stuff is helping =)
