it all depends on what kinda of drifting you wanna do. you can either do RWD or AWD. if you use the hand brake it would usually be in the beginning of the turn and power out the rest of it. if its RWD you kinda tap it and counter steer. if its awd you pretty much floor it

its a little bit more then what i explained but thats the basic part of it. the rest of the knowledge comes with practice. but with AWD you need a lot more power then RWD because its harder to break traction and keep that loss of traction continuous with an AWD car

@ninjaslave2 points drift is the "point" of drifting in forza 3, not to sound mean or condescending, but the points are to show how much angle, how long and consistent you are with drifting, but unfortunately aren't correct half the time when people get "lucky" or bs happens and they barely touch a wall and lose heaps etc, then i know what you mean. But as for me i just do the best drifting i can.

But my opinion is; cars like s15, rx7, TRUENO etc are setup easy to start with, srsly lol

@ninjaslave2 i started with a trueno, all i did was upgrade it to lowish s class and a little bit of front negative camber and hard back tires, didn't know to do much more but it drifted as well as my bently continental ss (properly tuned) now. So that shows some cars are "easier" more stable, because of weight distribution or wheelbase...

Mechanical damage was enabled in an endurance playlist a while back, and often there was a retard who would join for the sole purpose of trying to wreck everyone, leaving vitcims with a damaged car rendering it un-driveable and having to pay the repair bills after the race, while the wrecker wouldn't give a shit about the race, or just quits to avoid paying repair bills. Sure you could go in the pits to repair the damage, but by then the race is over.
