@fiebrepr100 Carter 4070 pump, holley FPR. Cant remember what the specs are, but you need around 5psi fuel pressure and a low pressure, high volume pump, with the carter is.
Oh ok, so I can still use my bluetop ignition with a twin carb setup? And is your engine a bigport or small port? Are there any tricks I need to know about the ignition setup? Just get a 6AL, 8980, blaster coil, is that right?

hey man this shirt is badd as.. do you have a part number for the carbs you are using.. also is it a correct fit for that motor or you had to modifi it.. i am about to put one of theese motor on one of my cars and I really will like to use that carb set up you got there.. that motor sound magnificent.. nice ride..
Nice build you got going. Just read through the write up on club4ag. Car sounds really nice so far. Can't believe you found those parts at a scrapyard. I just moved to Surrey from Kamloops about a week ago and checked every scrapyard there and didn't find anything as nice as what you found, congratz man.
Oh nice. Yeah hopefully in a few months I'll move right into Vancouver - where I want to end up. If you see any ae86's for sale around, would you mind letting me know? I'm looking for a cheap GTS or SR5 to go along with my 86 Celica.
Carbs are basically just another type of fuel management. It was a no brainer for me to do mainly becuase the original sr5 platform is carbeurated. Advantages, not too sure. ITBS are computer controlled, carbs you adjust by changing the jets.
is that fuel pump that loud all that time? or just when you turn it on?

I'd like to see someone build a car that could flip a cement or logging truck at high speed, or low speed.
It would be a Ferrari-style, but would need armour steel ramps for the fenders, and the A-pillars, etc.
But it could be done.
You're out on the highway with 40 ton trucks... if it is being built for the highway.
Anyway, a spooky thought to pass the day.
popplewort333 2 years ago
What?

More power is fine, but no rollcage is not.
The math behind the mods must be complex indeed.
popplewort333 2 years ago
The car isn't finished. Roll Cage is on the agenda for next year.
