The reason why that's funny is because after Obama finished his DNC speech he was cheered on stage while the Brooks & Dunn song "Only In America" played

Nominating Sarah Palin for the VP slot clinched my vote for John McCain. People compare Palin to Obama, saying that both lack the experience to be President. There is a huge difference, however. Palin, like McCain, has spent her life on the front lines. She has repeatedly risked her name and career, making unpopular decisions for the good of her city and state. And I don't think she would have any problem acting for the good of the country, even if it went against her personal interests.
glory789 and what was it that they said that was racist?
You need to get a life you anti-white bigot. Every thing is racist to your small minded people and by people I mean you liberals. Oh don't take offence you soft little self. Really your views on racism int that important their old "played out". And believe me no one cares about your fake sense of racism besides you race hustlers like Al Sharpton. The only bigot is you, don't you have a anti-white Obama/Wright bigot convention to goto?

Well your liberal media dont have a problem with mocking Sarah. CNN, ABC MSNBC Then they even go as far to have their so called journalists on the floor. suggest to people it was sarcastic rather than historic.
Can you picture fox walking around the DNC doing that? NO they showed respect.

"MY liberal media?" I don't affiliate myself with any party; I think the whole concept of it is nonsense. I'll likely vote for McCain, but it has nothing to do with any party unity bullshit.
Anyway, Giuliani's comment was sarcastic..and even if he was genuinely making reference to how historic Obama's candidacy has been, I take aim at the people who laughed following the line.
Now who is laughing the hardest...Judy, I mean Rudy!

But can somebody explain why they're laughing?
I'm seriously stumped. Everyone in the room gets the joke but me. And I want to know what the secret code is.
If you get it, please spell it out for me.

I think the audience took as a racist joke about affirmative action.

No the audience was cheering him for his comments. They were booing Obama and calling Obama zero.

Shorter Giuliani:
"9/11, POW. POW POW POW. 9/11. Terrorists. 9/11 9/11 9/11. POW POW POW. Terror. 9/11"

I think he's mocking people's blind following. I think it's a little demeaning to mock such a historical candidate, even if I'm not voting for him.
