I gotta say this about the old republic game... This is supposed to be like 3000 years before the movies, right? So why is the army dressed in stormtrooper style? Why do they have every single piece of technology of the movies time? I mean, i get what's happening here. They want it to look familliar and recognizable as Star Wars, but it does come off as a serious lack of creative production design and original thinking.

@LukeLovesRose Yeah the space battle at the beginning of Episode II wasn`t exciting or the geonosis battle or the battle between Obi Wan in Jango inspite of all having fast fluent camera work, grreat editing amazing speciakl visuall effects having many moves and tactics etc..... Lucas even created the great Indy films and his ILM that those effects for Avatar Titanic, T2 The Abyss byut no he should beg Cameron iunspite of the fact that he created 2 oif the best filmfrancises of all time.

I like how this game puts seemingly normal men on par with the Jedi. Notice how in the prequels the Jedi were rarely truly challenged. They either fought total pushover droids or were overwhelmed by the emperor's surprise attack.

If Lucasarts decided to make another trilogy of movies using animation like this, with more freedom for acrobatics, choreography, visual effects, Force powers, etc. and then turn away from the Skywalker story, and show fans that there's more to SW than the Skywalker family, they could make a fortune (again), please MANY fans, and possibly make new ones. Of course, Star Wars can't reclaim its true glory if the soundtrack isn't done by John Williams.
