I totally agree; Team Rocket sucks these days. :( Half the reason I stopped watching is because Team Rocket got insanely boring — nowadays, it's just the same old thing: appear before the immortal, never-aging Ash and his friends; attempt (and fail) to capture Pikachu; blast off and try again. :| It was funny for the first two or three seasons, but then it just got old.

I'm actually reminded of a particular VGCats strip that expressed my words in a similar way. xD

I'm not into the new pokemon series either, the voices are terrible, I'm not fond of Dawn (Misty all the way =D), Team Rocket is horrid, and yeah, I just don't feel energized watching them like I did with the old school one y'know?

I DO know — I was actually pleasantly surprised when they started up the Hoenn arc with someone who was NOT Ash 'Almighty Immortal' Ketchum — until he showed up again. x.x

He's merely an overpowered Gary Stu. :| It can't focus on someone ELSE, NO; it HAS to be HIM! Someone can be his SIDE-KICK (something I'd like to give him, heh heh), but heaven FORBID they should ever take Ash out of the lime-light. \o-o/

Also, yeah, the voices suck. XP I'm sure the translation's probably better (anyone remember Ash's mom going on about underwear in the early episodes of Season 1? :D) than the old one, but I don't see why they couldn't've kept the old cast. :/

@KizulEmeraldfire lol I loved Ash's mom, she was such good comedic relief when Team Rocket wasn't around. "Don't forget to change your underwear every day", how could I forget that. xD And yeah, I wish the old cast stuck around. I can understand Meowth because his voice actress died so they had to get a new one but they didn't pick a good one... And actually, they did focus on other trainers in the Pokemon Chronicles. So that was pretty neat.
