Miehiha san (美恵雛）had erikae ceremony and became geiko on July in 2009.

She belongs to Song and Ddance Aassociatioh of Miyagawachou,

(宮川町歌舞会）whichi is  biggest asociation second to Gion Koubu(祇園甲部歌舞会.

In miyakawa chou,some 30 maiko, 50 geiko live and work.

Among them , Kimika san(君香）,famous for most beautiful geiko in Japan is.

i think some of the Geishas pick up a little english from the touriests and their clients but their all very pretty

I think he should've explained what a Geiko is, cause if he did I didn't here him. Gieko is just Kyoto Dialect for Geisha.

I think what peter macintosh does is in extremely bad taste. You do not need a white man to explain japanese traditions to white people. He is an outsider who has pushed his way in, and will never understand how geiko and maiko are at their finest: when they are with wealthy and sophisticated clients who actually pay for the service rather than using/leeching.

miehina's obi is very shiney and pretty and toshihana her self is pretty as well, most geiko and maiko are

Well, actually a geisha doesnt necessarily have to be super pretty because they put on so much makeup.

It's not really a mistake actually, just another romanization scheme, closer to the hiragana.

Probably better to use the Hepburn geisha for a tag, though.
