Actually i think what Michael means by new is hes trying to spread the gospel and arise nations and a NEW generation of Christians that are on fire for God, and im here to tell you, my generation is gonna change the world, im 18 and a youth leader at my youth group, its amazing what God does, and the blessings he poors on you for being faithful were having huge movements of next generation Christians here in Iowa, and I cant wait to see what God has in store ;)

Actually, Protestants are Christians who broke away from the Catholic Church during the Protestant Reformation. It began in 1517 when Martin Luther posted his "95 Theses" to the Wittenberg Church in Wittenberg, Germany. And Snake0302 is right when he says that Catholic is not a denomination. Baptists, Methodists, Presbyterians, etc. are denominations -- Protestant denominations.

We as Catholics venerate Mary as the Mother of God. We pray to saints because like all christians we Catholics believe in life after death but now the saints are living in Heaven. Praying to saints is the same thing as asking a friend or family member to pray for us. Catholics Worship ONLY God. And Mary is very Holy and she was without original sin.

@V1NCEs We must realize that Paul emphasizes with the term "all" but God did make exceptions for Jesus and Mary and infants and for a limited time Adam and Eve. There are so many typological supports for the understanding of Mary's sinlessness. We cannot build a doctrine around one biblical verse.

@jeandoodles hmmm, well if you mean just as christian as the many other people that claim to be christians in this world by going to a church but having no real ongoing everyday relationship with christ then maybe your right, its not just the catholics who treat their religion as a free ticket to sin as long as they ask a priest for forgivenss, many proffesing christians do this as well they sin and plan to sin some more and pray a meaningless prayer

no one knows who will stay here cause God will check everyones faith,and thats why we need to put it in our heats to be ready for anything and ALWAYS thank God for everything, good or bad, cause He never does anything to harm us, if only to bring us closer to HIm in prayer when we are in trouble =) and its not born agians who will be raptured but those who were faithful cause they are the ones who will judge us, thats what the Bible says =)

what i mean is the ritheous ones, the saints to be exact =) and just because cathlics and others have fathers and so on, that does not mean that they will be the ones, God has His ppl throughout every nation, also, one thing about cathlics is that they focus on mary and pray to her, they idolize her which is not good, :/ Jesus should be the one you call upon for any problem in your life cause He knows what we are going through and will always hear us =)

Yep, its pretty sad how lost most Christians even are, like Catholics, praying to mary, and the other saints, and believing ( not just catholics, but like over 90% of all believers) that you cant get to heaven without Jesus, like living a good life, well not one person on this earth has lived a good life, and what kind of father would send his only begotten son to die on the cross for no reason?

Yes they are, sadly. I dont understand why there are different denominations, but... although we believe in the same God, people like to change things, which is why there are sooo many denominations of Christianity, im a full gospel Christian, I believe everything in the Bible, and if you say your a Christian and dont believe what the Bible says then i dont see how you can call yourself a Christian, makes no sense really :P i wasnt talking about you though, just more ranting haha :)

Yea, I believe everything, from speaking in tongues to healings, everything, and ive already witnessed pretty much everything so I know its real, but I dont see how some Christians can say, " I dont believe in speaking in tongues." Actually i think what Michael means by new is hes trying to spread the gospel and arise nations and a NEW generation of Christians that are on fire for God, and im here to tell you, my generation is gonna change the world, im 18 and a youth leader at my youth group, its amazing what God does, and the blessings he poors on you for being faithful were having huge movements of next generation Christians here in Iowa, and I cant wait to see what God has in store ;)
