I loved the comic and the movie. I'm on Rorschachs side at the end though, Even in the face of armageddon do not sacrifice your values. Do not sacrifice justice and truth. As for the reason they didn't like it, wouldn't they have felt the same way about the comic being preachy.
For every reason Tom disliked the movie I did. I find myself hating so many movies because they aren't think enoug. I don't want to be just entertained, I want to be evoked, provoked, intriguied. Even a little confused. If i'm not thinking I'm bored.
I despise 90% of comedies for example. We need more movies that confront the human condition, ask that you be a little scientifically curious, and force you, in real time, to confront moral situations without telling you which is "better"
