Firefox ftw. Its the most secure web browser. with a vlc plugin I always have installed it acan play all other formats anyway. Firefox is hands down the better browser, a little slower than chrome yeah, but on a quad core desktop, my main concern is security.

Thanks for the video which helped me a lot. The problem is you would need roughly 4 times as much webspace, right? One file for every format. A server- based on-the-fly stream converter would be a lot more effecient... If there was such a thing.
