  • Is this video sped up at all?

  • amazing view.

  • Why are there so many Hurricanes in US in Europe we have none

  • @MultiSlawa for one Europe is in cooler waters. nearer the equator is where you get tropical storms since the warm water is what feeds the storm

  • @MultiSlawa The main reason for that is the Coriolis effect. Look it up on Wikipedia.

  • @MultiSlawa Because the hurricanes need to originate in very warm waters which don't exist off of the coasts of Europe. Also, because of the direction of the Earth's rotation, the hurricanes naturally migrate to the west, not north, from their origin off of Africa. This is why they form off of Africa and end up hitting North and South America.

  • You guys should have put a microphone on it to record sound... Even though space is probably completely almost silent... I dunno I haven't been there and probably never will. :(

  • @MuzzDrifter94 All we need is an Austrailian tv host. CRICKEY LOOKE HERE! its a RARE sighting of a Cloud god!

  • @MuzzDrifter94 There was supposed to be a narration from the flight engineer, but sound from the hurricane was never intended to be heard from the space station. For some reason the sound isn't included in the video.

  • thats some crazyyyyyy sh**

  • how come there is no sound?? :s

  • @hoorain25 sound doesnt travel on space

  • @coisinhodasilva in space no one can hear you scream

  • @coisinhodasilva

ohhh.. okay.. thank you for letting me know.. but isn't there any possibility? i mean in case if two big rocks hit, isn't there a possibility that there would be tiny winy sound? :s

  • @hoorain25 it's in orbit, no rockets are needed when in orbit

  • @hoorain25 nope, still no sound

sound needs particles to travel, if there are no particles, there is no sound

as you know, space has almost no particles roaming around

watch this video, it will explain how sound travels ;)

    /watch?v=27a26e2CnuM

  • @coisinhodasilva Well, there are particles inside the space station, otherwise they won't breathe. There is sound from where the person is holding the camera (Obviously), the sound is just disabled from the camera. XD

  • @hoorain25 If rocks hit the station, of course they would hear it inside. There's matter to vibrate. Air inside the station and metal along the outside. So if something hits the station, they would hear it. From the hurricane to the station is near vacuum, so there is no way they would hear anything. Not in our register of hearing, anyway.

  • @rabidtarg

that is really amazing.. i wish i was an astronaut.. :p they get to experience such amazing stuff.. anyway, thanks for explaining.. :) appreciate..

  • @hoorain25 No, no possibility. IF there was sound in space, we would hear the sun explode all the time, since it's one big long lasting explosion. That wouldn't be very pleasant wouldn't it :p Vacuum is too empty for sound to travel in.

  • @MadRazzex The sun isnt one big explosion. It is actually a solid mass that is composed of molten rock, lava and fire. If the sun was an explosion, it would expand and feed off our solar system and eventually feeding off so many things, it would grow larger than you can even imagine (The sun is already millions of times larger than earth) and eventually just collapse, creating a black hole which would feed and feed and feed and then implode and close.

  • @xDImGellinDx

Not exactly. The sun is made of neither rock, lava, nor fire. It is, in fact, one large chain reaction of nuclear fusion, with hydrogen atoms being spliced together into helium atoms. The sun is a miasma of incandescent plasma, and massive amounts of energy are being released by the fission taking place in the star's core. It is an explosion, and the reason it doesn't spread is because it is contained by it's own gravity.

  • @yoyomoneymon You sound like you know what you are talking about so i believe you XD

  • @hoorain25 I don't know. In the video description it says there should be a narration from E28 Flight Engineer Mike Fossum. YouTube is always having upload errors, though. Too bad. I would have liked the narration.

  • @rabidtarg

oh yes, i would have loved it..

  • @sganiere HELLO IRENE...................... GOODBYE FEDERAL RESERVE CIRCUS CLOWNS!

  • i can't see the hurricane

  • @IheartMusicsite how the hell can you not see it

  • is this video in real time?

  • @Omerack No.

  • @Omerack yes it is:D

  • @Omerack Actually, plenty of the shots appear to be in real time.
