The money is good.. I pay more in tax these days than I used to earn in a week and a half working local. 10 Hr days aint so bad... I used to put in more hrs when I owned my own gear and profit more with less worries. Ive been offered another job with better pay.. maybe a change of venue. Ill keep yas informed. Thnx 4 watchin etc
Quite the trip and Lots of eqipment in that place.Those quarry trucks are something they could crush a regular vehicle and you almost wouldn't feel it.You will be quite buzy with that job stay safe.

@mad4diesel .. had no internet here due to cyclone but now i can answer your question... yeah I got most done! just had to get a contractor to finish a few things off. I didnt have a PC and couldnt make a video of the actual room building process(not my garage tho) but have since got a new laptop and all the footage is at home and not with me on this computer at camp. I'll see how busy I am when I fly home next and get the chance to show u guys more of how it went.
The food is not as good as other camps they say but I wouldnt know.. Its my first camp Ive lived in. We have roasts every night n stuff and my (2) well done steaks each night are usually not too bad but they say fish is dry and not too tasty (indonesian fish I hear). The salads are gettin a bit boring as they are the same everyday. Theres chew'n' spew (chinese food) and lotsa desserts to pig out on but with the road closures... its all running out !
I bet the cyclone is playing havoc up there..I heard a lot of blokes couldn't fly out for a couple of days. What's the food like..every camp I've had a feed at up there has been so good I've stuffed myself like a pig and could hardly walk.

Its extreme weather but the other way round from what ur experiencing. 100F+ everyday..instead of snow.
Ive been offered better money elsewhere so maybe a change of venue for me.
I'll try n keep ya all updated as shit happens.
