Hi Warren - You've probably heard this a million times, but why don't you sing in your normal voice? If it's because you can't get enough 'power' behind it, this is someone you can train relatively easy.

It still sounds good, though, but I bet you can do even better, if you learn a breathing tecnique.

@Cricriiii Thom's strumming pattern is pretty much what I show here, but perhaps playing with the whole band or hearing the guitar duo produces some more interesting rhythmic juxtaposition. Don't worry, guitar didn't come that easy to anyone.

@fasttrap999 Hmmm, not so sure about that. I see him using plenty of 8th-note upstrums. Check out other performances like Latitude to see other stripped down versions for ideas, because honestly Thom switches it up a lot. Ultimately whatever sounds good to you, do that. Don't have to agree with me, but this is my interpretation of the core, bare-bones strumming pattern.

the higher strings are muted, so you strum all of them and the lower strings will ring out and the higher ones will give it the muted sound
