Almost all kickboxers do very well in mma look at Crocop, Dos santos and karitonov and non of those guys have better kickboxing career than overeem and on top of that he has ton's of expireance has more figthts than all of the Top 5 UfC hw's combined and lets not forgett his raw power.

@itskhuan Hmmm that's hard to see since as they have diff styles. Dos Santos wants to stand up and Brock wants to go down. But Santos has amazing takedown defense but Brock takedown offense is amazing. Dos stand up is killer and brock stand up needs work.

Furthermore, JDS obviously has the striking superiority (18-0 kickboxing record) generally as good as Chuck Liddell, and we all know how dangerous Liddell was in his prime. I don't know much about Cain, so i'm not going to make any claims about him.

Junior Dos Santos is my fav UFC fighter, But i do like Cain, its gonna be a great fight, Junior has him with hands and ground game but the one thing that is gonna throw Junior is the kicks, if Cain throws kicks as well as punches like he has been doing, then he will throw off Junior and junior will stall his punches and Cain can relax more and try to beat him by points cause he is not gonna knock him out, Cain needs to keep a distance cause if Junior gets one chance then he will knock him out.

Fedor's loss does not mean that he should lose, he wins 9 out of 10 times against Werdum.

If fedor would had made the fight a striking match against Werdum (which he so easily could've done since Werdum could never take Fedor down) he would've probably knocked Werdum out in the first round. To be frank, Fedor NEVER makes mistakes and therefore never loses, except for that one time when he lost...

@ageeeeeeeeee Junior Dos Santos, also landed, he landed bombs throughout the entire fight, Roy Nelson was quite frankly not up to par, which led JDS to believe Roy was gassed, or weak, which meant he didn't pace himself as much, look at the Cro Cop fight, he finished it in the third round.

@ageeeeeeeeee I'm not saying anything is certain, but JDS, has probably THE best training camp in the world, his ground game is superb (BJJ brown belt) plus he trains with the likes of the Nogueiras, Silva, and Machida. Furthermore, JDS obviously has the striking superiority (18-0 kickboxing record) generally as good as Chuck Liddell, and we all know how dangerous Liddell was in his prime. I don't know much about Cain, so i'm not going to make any claims about him.

Okay yeah maybe cain valasquez will lose but isent that what everybody said about him against brock lesnar? Cain has a good chance and Lets not forget Nobody is unbeatable we have yet to see junior dos santos ground game so if given the chance cain will exploit it just like he did brock lesnar.. @rogerlaver I wouldn't be too worried with JDS ground game. He's a BJJ Brown belt, and trains at Black House. I doubt Cain could take him down anyway, and if he did, JDS would get right back up like he did vs Gonzaga.

Junior Dos Santos is my fav UFC fighter, But i do like Cain, its gonna be a great fight, Junior has him with hands and ground game but the one thing that is gonna throw Junior is the kicks, if Cain throws kicks as well as punches like he has been doing, then he will throw off Junior and junior will stall his punches and Cain can relax more and try to beat him by points cause he is not gonna knock him out, Cain needs to keep a distance cause if Junior gets one chance then he will knock him out.

@defiant0121 yes but don't forget that Nogueira has taken down Fabricio Werdum and Cro Cop as well. And Cain destroyed Minotauro. I am not saying that dos Santos is not good. He is probably one of the best fighters today together with Cain. Fedor and Mirko were great, but their time is past. New generations of fighters are coming. It def will be good fight to watch.

The thing with Fedor is that he dominates his opponents in their respective area of expertise, furthermore he has some of the greatest takedowns and submissions out of them all and his boxing is also extremely powerful and dynamic. Fedor's loss does not mean that he should lose, he wins 9 out of 10 times against Werdum.

If fedor would had made the fight a striking match against Werdum (which he so easily could've done since Werdum could never take Fedor down) he would've probably knocked Werdum out in the first round. Fedor's arm wasn't even in a bad position, at least good enough to slip out. Don't ask me why he didn't, I felt that something was missing. To be frank, Fedor NEVER makes mistakes and therefore never loses, except for that one time when he lost...
