His hidden blade video was one of the first I found, with instructions on the crimping and stuff, and his is one of the easier ones to make. Not many hidden blade videos have instructions, then again last time I was looking for videos was, what, 12 months ago? I'm sure more have popped up by then but I'm currently not working on it. I know it's not working perfectly so forgive me if it is not up to your standard.

Im not saying its not good, all I am saying is, there are alot of hidden blades that are better than Squalleonhearts idea, so why does he get all the credits, when infact, you may not know that some of the AC hidden blades are made solely by the creator and hadnt even watched squalleonhearts vid.

How did you cut the tai chi sword?

i know it's very long but how?

and how did squallLeonheart hammer the back of the blade to prevent it from falling?

I didn't cut the sword, I just disassemble it and took out the segments I need. He does something called crimping, which you can see when he shows the bottom of the blade. You'll notice little dents that he made to prevent the segments from falling off.

How do you disassemble the tai chi sword?

You'd know when you actually take a look at one. You unscrew the handle of the sword and the blade would just slide off at the bottom, through the opened handle.

I'm not really sure I to say it, but it'll collapse into what it looks like before I slide it out.

uh no, it's a collapsible tai chi sword, so it has 4-5 segments that can collapse into a compact form. I use 3 of the segments as the hidden blade. The container you see is part of the collapsible taichi sword.

The coming out one is easy. But I haven't figure out the going back in part, even with watching all that video tutorials about the hidden blade. All I did with mine is just push it back in. Sorry can't help you there.

What mechanism did you use to keep the blade out, and then allow it to retract?

It's just the collapsible taichi sword, it stays out when you slide it out coz the base is too big to slip out. The retraction is still a problem, all I did is push it and it slides in by gravity.

Just use cool foam for the gauntlets, it's cheap and easy. You can hold them together around your arm with velcro. I'm not sure about the blade, try a plastic knife?

If screwd i need a 2 gauntlets, a non metal/plastic blade in 2 days help Saera!

I don't know of a way you can make the gauntlets within 1 day. Mine took me a week or so to finish, unless you plan on doing it through the day and night, you MIGHT just make it. Otherwise, you might as well find something else because making a decent one does not take 1 day.
