The thing is, the dictionary I have that I got that word out of, was made ten years ago. It doesn't have really any slang in there. I use it because it's correct. Like I said, "stupidest" wasn't completely incorrect, nor was it completely correct. Unless in the past 9 years they made the change that says "stupidest" isn't a word anymore. I'm not disagreeing with the fact that there are people out there that share correct info. Just saying you shouldn't trust the internet with everything.
