Although the lyrics {written by Bono and the Edge of U2} are really cheesy {especially for a Bond movie} and the song is drawn out a little bit too long at the end, Tina Turner's amazing vocal performance and delivery make up for it.

Goldeneye is definetly one of the best bond movies. Only to bad that was the really great one of brosnans era.. i like the others too, but they didn`t live up to the standard of Goldeneye. Die Another Die (which i really had gotten to much negative attention) is a very entertaining movie, but things got a bit unrealistic even for bond. My favorite actors to play him is Moore, Connery and Brosnan. Craig doesn`t completely do it for me, but i thought Casino Royale was a awesome movie.

@cmm191096 Well Roger moore had light brownish hair almost ginger and was very light and yet no one complained when he got the role its pretty arrogant to say oh i dislike Craig just by how he acts and looks he acts a lot tougher yes but that's how the character of bond was suppose to be played hes far more realistic anyway Casino royale was far better than Die another day which was a terrible film.

Goldeneye has almost the perfect balance of seriousness and fantasy that makes it the second best film in my mind...still unable to top You Only Live Twice. :) You just don't beat...the volcano base being raided by ninjas...the gyrocopter, rocket cigs...the whole movie is just epic. AND the theme song was great too.

Brosnan wanted to do Casino Royale - the producers wouldnt accept him for the role again - because Casino was the first original bond story written before Dr No and they wanted a different actor for the role. It wasnt his age. It wasn't originally made with Connery as it was too expensive back in the day.
