Just read one of his last articles for Vanity Fair where he rips into Nietzsche, a man who is idolized by a cult. Hitchen's puts Nietzsche in his place, just like he did Ayn Rand.
Love the Hitch, and I've been critical of Clinton, but Bill Maher ended up being the most right person here. @VersaMusic The decade following NAFTA was the result of Reagan's repeal of the Glass Steagall Act and NAFTA. That decade saw the undermining of agriculture and cultural stability in Mexico. It was the building of a bubble economy and the acceleration of the concentration of wealth. NAFTA allowed the core of our economy, manufacturing base, to be exported. It also allowed US grain distributors to flood Mexico with corn destroying their farming economy and forcing them to slave for US agra biz.

@LeoRikimaru Very simple: Insulation effect. Temps are usually measured on the surface, so jet fuel is measured as burning below melting point. But if you have a large enough heat source and are at the midlle of it for long enough, you get a tremendous insulation effect with your core temperature well above the surface burning temp.
Imagine your whole body is covered in 20 layers of wool. You have a body temperature of ca. 27+C but the insulation of your own body heat will create temps >50+C
@mctabla I'm not sure the same effect could be applied to Titanium in this instance to such an extent that both engines literally vaporizes without a trace. Also it should be noted that the part of the pentagon the plane hit was the only part that had been recently re-enforced.

@splicedenergy Yeah so? He's also a hook-nosed fanatical supporter of israel against all reason... he's owned by the jews of hollywood, my young simpleton.
Typical American Sheep...no offence to those Americans with brains but notice not one person asked any questions about the suspicious circumstances behind the whole capture,Instead they fight over whos ass they should kiss the most. This stinks of zionists propaganda.
@hidepuller2008 Ok,your right,Just pointing out not one person question the governments official story even though no evident has ever been provided showing Bin Laden was responsible. No one questioning the capture story either even though it is tainted with suspicious errors .Ten years of deceit still hasnt motivated Americans to wake up.
@hidepuller2008 Except for his proud confession on his regular video releases. Guess you missed that. He bragged about the attack on the USS Cole in Yemen and the bombing of the towers the 1st time in 1993. 911 was his second attack.
@hidepuller2008 I'm not representing myself to you. Let me tell you what I think happened. Bin Laden and the Pilots and all had help from someone high up and Bush didnt take the warning that Bin laden is a threat a week before and didnt care because to him Clinton was paranoid about bin laden so he didnt care. Clinton was "wag the dog" or some shit like that. Al queda bombed The cole and was involved at black hawk down. They set us up. They had help but it wasnt Bush or cheney that let them
Clinton decided to go and kill Bin Laden after the Cole but the CIA and FBI would not give him the basing rights. Meaning cia and fbi were purposley blocking Clinton's agenda to kill Bin Laden. It was an inside job to an extent but its not so cut and dry as most people think it is. But I am convinced that right after 911 Bush and Cheney were let in on it (plausible deniablity factor). Which explains why he no longer cared to kill OBL and made up 2 wars to make the Elites mounds of cash.
@splicedenergy Ppl will always say theres no way a conspiracy was possible because there would had been a leak somewhere which sounds reasonable. But theres a huge difference between helping plan the attack and just turning a blind eye and ignoring evidence of a pending attack. O.B.L first statement to a pakistani reporter was that he wasnt involved or didnt have any knowledge of the attacks. He claimed it was a combined operation between Israel and U.S officials. 28/9/2001
idiot's...ignorance = your doom!...these morons actually believe thier leaders actually have power...HAHAHAHA ..hilarious!'' ahhhh bin laden is chillin in the whitehouse basement...friggin morons!! game over dude @@@@@BOOM@@@@@ 2012
@echoplex89 What are people determined to force others into tiny partisan boxes? He has never declared himself as any kind of Republican, why not allow that he may not be aligned with any particular party, but forms reasoned views issue by issue.
God, I love it when Hitch pwns Maher's dumb fucking audience. If only he could somehow reach into youtube from this clip and pwn some of the dumb fucking commenters here too
@deegan45 A liberal President was in power when bin Laden was killed.* Obama didn't airdrop in via helicopter to a Palestinian compound to shoot Bin Laden in the head, soldiers did. The same soldiers who we continue to keep in 2+ wars that have no end or specified goal.
@shantanu6 thats true every one knows of the Palestinians refugees problem, but how many know about the million hindu kashmiris driven out of their region by islamic extremists, in india it self!!!!
At this point, and I think still today, there was a reluctance to even entertain the notion that Bush had been particularly at fault for 9/11. I think its true that the same thing probably would have happened under Clinton or Gore, but its also possible that it wouldn't have. I think effective government is often the result of the guy at the top minding the little things - and those little things can build up surprisingly fast. Bush simply didn't mind the little things.
@usernameableism you are correct, in fact, according to Richard A Clarke's "against all enemies" bush was apathetic about al quaeda not only before 911, but after too.
Sometimes Hitchens is so far off. When Bush was in office they mentioned nothing about Al Qaeda before 9/11, they had no interest what so ever. Richard Clarke was even tellingthe Bush's to go after Bin Laden and they were just pre occupied with Iraq who had nothing to do with it and in fact Bush pulled people from te Bin Laden search and moved them to Iraq. I wanna debate Hitchens, he used to have a brain, now apparently alcohol has fogged it up.
Escalating the war in Afghanistan, passing 1990's Republican health care reform ideas, passing weak-sauce financial regulation after a huge market crash. Oh, yeah and he's lowering corporate taxes...to decrease the deficit ... If Obama's a liberal, then I'm Che Guevara.
The most boring conversation about nothing with Maher and Hitchens, who are usually stunningly interesting. Did people used to be morons 10 years ago? Can't tell
clinton did not fuck up, he was prevented from getting to al qaeda/bin laden by repubilcans who opposed the invasion of afghanistan. Watch the video "clinton owns fox news" and you will agree.
while Clinton was president, he tried to kill bin laden and al qaeda. In the interview with Fox news that aired on sep 24 2006 on youtube, he explains what he did wrong and right during his presidency. After 9/11, it was the republicans that PREVENTED the killing of bin laden in 1997, which Clinton was trying to achieve, that then critized Bill Clinton about not getting him. And Clinton admits that he should have gotten him, but at least he TRIED
this is were this argument is settled: interview with bill clinton by fox news. You can see that Clinton did everything in his power to get bin laden. Bunch of pompous assholes were WRONG and MAHER was RIGHT.
clinton tried to KILL bin laden! watch the video titled "clinton owns fox news", in which clinton explains how he tried to kill bin laden, how after bush was elected, the focus was shifted from bin laden.
@AroundSun Obama opposed disgusting torture of inmates and suspects, but he promoted the war on terrorism and he evidently did NOT oppose the killing of Osama. If the "republican intelligence" (there is no such thing) was so prominent, how come it didn't lead to killing Osama during 8 years of republican reign? the intelligence that COULD have led to the DEATH of bin laden/al qaeda (in 1997, under Clinton) and the PREVENTION of 911 was IGNORED by the republicans! Obama is just and delivered!
@timmay301 The information we gathered was from waterboarding dumbass. He was against everything that led up to his capture, he just got the credit for it. Just like the coach that brings his team to the big game, then another coach steps in and takes credit. Give me a fuckin break. Bush didn't get him because THEY DIDN'T KNOW WHERE HE WAS. Its war. Obama had nothing to do with the CIA tipoff that bin laden was in Pakistan. Clinton ignored Bin Laden
@AroundSun The guys that did the waterboasrding confirmed that they didn't get any intel regarding OBL. Please look it up. If some liberal hippie said it, I would be 'yeah, right' but the guys who need that credit to justify/exonerate the waterboarding have no reason to make themselves look bad. Bush quickly downplayed any credit despite Fox news implying tha he was the reason for the mission; he credited Obama. Bush stated he stopped looking for OBL, 6 months after 9/11 (again public record).
@TheDarksweeney :"The guys that did the waterboasrding confirmed that they didn't get any intel regarding OBL" Ok, you lose all credibility. It is a KNOWN FACT that these interogation methods lef DIRECTLY to Bin Laden's courier. You fucking idiot even the liberals are getting on page with this since it is an irrefutable fact. "Bush stated he stopped looking for OBL, 6 months after 9/11 (again public record)." HAHA leave it to idiots to twist things around. This is not true at all
Love these little "know it all" fucks like Hitchens (with his conspiracy theories) and Klayman who think it's so fucking easy to take out a specific and well protected terrorist. Hitchens is so damn obsessed with crusader wars now.
There wouldn't have been a 9/11 with a President Gore cuz on August 5, 2001 when President Gore would have gotten a presidential memo saying 'bin Laden determined to strike inside the US' he would have DONE SOMETHING, as oppose to Bush who did NOTHING
@twiedenfeld rare cases? You obviously don't read or listen to the great Hitch very often. The only man Hitchens truly hates is Kissinger. He told that to Brian Lamb years ago. He IS obsessed w/the immorality of Bill & Hillary but he doesn't hate them. Hitchens is still a bit neoconservative while he denies this. In this old clip he was NOT liberal, very interventionist & very neoconservative. Don't argue w/him. He has been every where, knows everyone & knows more about the world than anybody.
hah how wrong was larry !

Typical American Sheep...no offence to those Americans with brains but notice not one person asked any questions about the suspicious circumstances behind the whole capture,Instead they fight over whos ass they should kiss the most. This stinks of zionists propaganda.

BizaroMustard100 7 months ago
@hidepuller2008 Ok,your right,Just pointing out not one person question the governments official story even though no evident has ever been provided showing Bin Laden was responsible. No one questioning the capture story either even though it is tainted with suspicious errors .Ten years of deceit still hasnt motivated Americans to wake up.
hidepuller2008 7 months ago
@hidepuller2008 Except for his proud confession on his regular video releases. Guess you missed that. He bragged about the attack on the USS Cole in Yemen and the bombing of the towers the 1st time in 1993. 911 was his second attack.
splicedenergy 6 months ago
@splicedenergy Really, pls direct me to those videos. Most videos l have seen have been proven to be fake.
hidepuller2008 6 months ago
@hidepuller2008 No they have not been proven to be fake. That's ridiculous.
splicedenergy 6 months ago
@splicedenergy Your right, its ridiculous.
hidepuller2008 6 months ago
@hidepuller2008 I'm not representing myself to you. Let me tell you what I think happened. Bin Laden and the Pilots and all had help from someone high up and Bush didnt take the warning that Bin laden is a threat a week before and didnt care because to him Clinton was paranoid about bin laden so he didnt care. Clinton was "wag the dog" or some shit like that. Al queda bombed The cole and was involved at black hawk down. They set us up. They had help but it wasnt Bush or cheney that let them
splicedenergy 6 months ago
Clinton decided to go and kill Bin Laden after the Cole but the CIA and FBI would not give him the basing rights. Meaning cia and fbi were purposley blocking Clinton's agenda to kill Bin Laden. It was an inside job to an extent but its not so cut and dry as most people think it is. But I am convinced that right after 911 Bush and Cheney were let in on it (plausible deniablity factor). Which explains why he no longer cared to kill OBL and made up 2 wars to make the Elites mounds of cash.
splicedenergy 6 months ago
@splicedenergy Ppl will always say theres no way a conspiracy was possible because there would had been a leak somewhere which sounds reasonable. But theres a huge difference between helping plan the attack and just turning a blind eye and ignoring evidence of a pending attack. O.B.L first statement to a pakistani reporter was that he wasnt involved or didnt have any knowledge of the attacks. He claimed it was a combined operation between Israel and U.S officials. 28/9/2001

Bush simply didn't mind the little things.
usernameableism 10 months ago
@usernameableism you are correct, in fact, according to Richard A Clarke's "against all enemies" bush was apathetic about al quaeda not only before 911, but after too.

Oh I missed that time period so much...so many blowjob jokes!
Champraves311 10 months ago
Sometimes Hitchens is so far off. When Bush was in office they mentioned nothing about Al Qaeda before 9/11, they had no interest what so ever. Richard Clarke was even tellingthe Bush's to go after Bin Laden and they were just pre occupied with Iraq who had nothing to do with it and in fact Bush pulled people from te Bin Laden search and moved them to Iraq. I wanna debate Hitchens, he used to have a brain, now apparently alcohol has fogged it up.

@deegan45

Can't tell
SketchyBack 10 months ago
clinton did not fuck up, he was prevented from getting to al qaeda/bin laden by repubilcans who opposed the invasion of afghanistan. Watch the video "clinton owns fox news" and you will agree.
timmay301 10 months ago
while Clinton was president, he tried to kill bin laden and al qaeda. And Clinton admits that he should have gotten him, but at least he TRIED
timmay301 10 months ago
this is were this argument is settled: interview with bill clinton by fox news. You can see that Clinton did everything in his power to get bin laden. Bunch of pompous assholes were WRONG and MAHER was RIGHT.
timmay301 10 months ago
clinton tried to KILL bin laden! watch the video titled "clinton owns fox news", in which clinton explains how he tried to kill bin laden, how after bush was elected, the focus was shifted from bin laden.
timmay301 10 months ago
@deegan45 A Navy Seal killed bin Laden with a republican installed intelligence system. A liberal was against everything that led up to that point.
AroundSun 10 months ago
@AroundSun you are an idiot. republicans never installed anything.
timmay301 10 months ago
@timmay301 Oh yea? So Obama didn't advocate against water-boarding and staying in the region? He didn't support the closing of Guantanamo?
AroundSun 10 months ago
@AroundSun Obama opposed disgusting torture of inmates and suspects, but he promoted the war on terrorism and he evidently did NOT oppose the killing of Osama. If the "republican intelligence" (there is no such thing) was so prominent, how come it didn't lead to killing Osama during 8 years of republican reign? the intelligence that COULD have led to the DEATH of bin laden/al qaeda (in 1997, under Clinton) and the PREVENTION of 911 was IGNORED by the republicans! Obama is just and delivered!
timmay301 10 months ago
@timmay301 The information we gathered was from waterboarding dumbass. He was against everything that led up to his capture, he just got the credit for it. Just like the coach that brings his team to the big game, then another coach steps in and takes credit. Give me a fuckin break. Bush didn't get him because THEY DIDN'T KNOW WHERE HE WAS. Its war. Obama had nothing to do with the CIA tipoff that bin laden was in Pakistan. Clinton ignored Bin Laden
AroundSun 10 months ago
@AroundSun The guys that did the waterboasrding confirmed that they didn't get any intel regarding OBL. Please look it up. If some liberal hippie said it, I would be 'yeah, right' but the guys who need that credit to justify/exonerate the waterboarding have no reason to make themselves look bad. Bush quickly downplayed any credit despite Fox news implying tha he was the reason for the mission; he credited Obama. Bush stated he stopped looking for OBL, 6 months after 9/11 (again public record).
TheDarksweeney 10 months ago
@TheDarksweeney :"The guys that did the waterboasrding confirmed that they didn't get any intel regarding OBL" Ok, you lose all credibility. It is a KNOWN FACT that these interogation methods lef DIRECTLY to Bin Laden's courier. You fucking idiot even the liberals are getting on page with this since it is an irrefutable fact. "Bush stated he stopped looking for OBL, 6 months after 9/11 (again public record)." HAHA leave it to idiots to twist things around. This is not true at all
AroundSun 10 months ago
@AroundSun actually you are right" a "republican installed intelligence system" that is the perfect description of a fucking rifle.

There wouldn't have been a 9/11 with a President Gore cuz on August 5, 2001 when President Gore would have gotten a presidential memo saying 'bin Laden determined to strike inside the US' he would have DONE SOMETHING, as oppose to Bush who did NOTHING

This is one of the rare cases where Christopher Hitchens has some sort of tunnel vision hatred of a person and takes the wrong side.
twiedenfeld 10 months ago
@twiedenfeld rare cases? You obviously don't read or listen to the great Hitch very often. The only man Hitchens truly hates is Kissinger. He told that to Brian Lamb years ago. He IS obsessed w/the immorality of Bill & Hillary but he doesn't hate them. Hitchens is still a bit neoconservative while he denies this. In this old clip he was NOT liberal, very interventionist & very neoconservative. Don't argue w/him. He has been every where, knows everyone & knows more about the world than anybody.
