  • this is good but unfortunately theres no biceps exercises. this is just my opinion, but i would put lat pulldowns in there instead of deadlifts i think. but still... your exercises are great lol

  • It looked like his knees goes too far passed his feet. It also looked like he locked his legs when he stood up after the squats.

    Did he also say to keep your back as arched as possible for deadlifting?

  • I totally agree that the compound movements (Squat, Bench, DL & Press) are the best for muscle building and strength.. check out one of my workouts "Stronglifts 5x5 - How to build strength, muscle and lose fat along the way" using 3 of the 4 movements mentioned here. Let me know what you think!

  • Why is it that when you do the dead lift, 1 hand faces in, while the other faces out?

  • @limkl2008 It is only for better grip. You don't need to face one hand in and one hand out.

  • This guy has overdone the bench press a little I think, he has protracted shoulders, but still thanks for showing these exercises.

    Why don't you push your hands maximum up during chest press or military press? Does it change anything than push them to straight elbows?

  • Any help to lose atleast 10 pounds of fat gain at least 3 pounds muscle for my High school Wrestling ( December /January) im 6'1 180ish (2- 4 pounds give or take) & 16. I can see abs clearly when i flex not so much otherwise

    overhead press

    push press

  • Shoulder press and overhead press is pretty much the same thing and you would normally use dumbbells:

    Push press : Push press is when you use your legs to help you push up the dumbbells or barbell when doing a shoulder press. It is normally just a short quick move to provide you with some extra momentum.

    Military press : Is what you see in the video and is when you use a barbell and the barbell comes to the front of the head instead of the back.

  • This video is good because it makes use of compound exercises

    many people do isolation exercises here hoping to get bigger muscle FAST

    but compound is much faster

  • I don't know about all of you guys but I used to use the cable pulling machines. Did that crap for a year and still couldn't bench my weight. then used some core lifts and more dumbbells then pulleys and benched 20 over my weight in 2 months.

  • why is it that you hold your hands opposite direction when doing a deadlift?

  • @swifttiga if you straight off with light weight you don't need use that technique. You only do the opposite hand technique when its heavy weight. Its like your secret weapon.

  • should we always use that type of grip for deadlift or can we do both palms facing down?

  • these are my favourite lifts anyways, just started doing powerlifting, im 16 and all of these exercises are challenging and fun! :)
