Nice version and great voice - ,if I may add perhaps you might try the vocal at a lower key which may suit your voice better .I like Lesleys Gores version but I prefer the version released by the british group the Seashells back in 1972 .

Very nice voice -- and a great song!! The one challenge to singing a cappella is to settle on one key. Once you've mastered that, you're on your way. Good luck to you!!

You do have a nice voice. I very much appreciate your posting this particular song since I love it and am a big Lesley Gore fan. Question: have you ever considered doing this with instrumental accompaniment and back-up vocals? A cappella music has its own charm but it's very hard to do for a song like this. I think it would be interesting to hear you with backup. In any case, good luck!

@rskissack yeah I agree, due to this song being difficult to sing A cappella and her doing a pretty decent job of it makes you wonder how well she'd do it with a little reverb and either a band or pre-recorded soundtrack

Personally I think you did an amazing job with this song considering there's no music. It's on my favorites list because I really get into it. I think you look like Lesley Gore too. I'm 37 & heard this song for the first time a couple of years ago. At the time, there wasn't a Lesley Gore version on YouTube so I listened to yours quite a few times. Now I listen to both but you know what, I like your version better because you're so young yet continuing the tradition of singing great music. Thanks

Girls like that are rare nowadays & for her to be a Lesley Gore fan makes her 100 times more beautiful than she already is. She has class, unlike you, & you know what, she has talent. She can talk all day if she wants if it means we hear her beautiful voice one way or another. She's a gifted gem & you can't argue that.
