why do i say republicans? someone else discussing this asked how it could be that the cboe could have identified the voters who were given the invisible ink story by their ballots. my guess is that they were identified by their applications for ballot.

There is no way it wasn't done intentionally. In Illinois, you are legally required to declare a party to vote for in the primaries. Democrat, republican or green. Depending on your choice, you are given a different ballot that is only for that party. I guess politics in chicago have evolved from vote early and often, into stealing the votes from others.

actually a common thing. people "undervote" when they leave contests completely open, such as the fifty circuit court judge contests nobody cares about. the machine will kick the ballot out and the attendant is supposed to ask the voter if they want to overide.
