His drive on health care reform has taken up so much time that he has had no time to work on anything else like the economy and jobs which is #1 to Americans right now.

The problem is not health care it's the Federal Reserve and their monetary policies. If you were honest with yourself you would look at the bill and know that even the CBO has said it will end up costing us more and that medical costs will continue to rise. Obama has spend his entire time campaigning and getting nothing done. He has squandered billions on banks and businesses that should have been left to fail or declare bankruptcy.

Actually Bush gave us better drug coverage within Medicare. Unfortunately he failed to put price controls and better testing for drug into the bill (or rather the Senate didn't). He also gave middle American tax cuts which are set to expire, as is the Marriage penalty. I alway like paying more because I'm married... really not fair. Bush also went before the Banking Committee in 2001 and told them about the implosion on the horizon. He was told by them what great orgs Fannie & Freddie were.

One more - since the passage of SS our congressional leaders have continually used it for other purposes and now it is in trouble. Since the inception of Medicare there has been over 1000% rise in the projected costs and not it is bankrupt. Since VA the same story. If we all had the taxes that we paid for SS and Medicare we might be able to afford to take care of ourselves. Don't even get me started on Medicaid and all the fraud there.

Get a grip. I worked since the inception of Medicare and paid taxes for it. If I had invested that money I would be so much better off than I am today and would have a much better health care plan because I would get a choice. There are reasons that doctors and some hospitals are not taking Medicare patients anymore. There are reasons that we now have to pay anywhere from $90 to $200+ to get a Medicare supplement plan. You really need to get educated.
