to much of anything especially politically correctness on a kids show is not a good thing when I watched this show as a kid or stuff like Zoom or Electric Company I did not need nor did Iwant some muppet telling me "Cookie is sometime food" . What about Ernie he's singing out of a bathtub of bubbles? SO WHAT!? I could go on forever . Some PC is okay but let us rember something I call common sense. Who the F*CK is in the background!? At :29 they just appear and it's REALLY dark and REALLY creepy! Then they disappear at :44. It was like zombies coming to eat Cookie Monster's choclately chip brain! I was a bit scared about what was going to happen for a bit. At the end it gets a little less creepy. Only a little.

As a student nurse and a serious muppet fan, I like to see Cookie monster's passion for cookies as promoting a healthy attitude toward food. We have enough messages out there telling people that food is bad. We need food to live. There's enough people out there who struggle with eating disorders. Go COOKIE!

The point of Cookie Monster in my opinion is his silliness & his love for cookies.... he makes you smile & feel good every time you see him chomp that cookie... not so much if he just "fusses" @ you not to eat them... where's the fun in that for a kid?
