  • awesome vid .....that dude at the end must have been over 6ft ...ROFL just about put it under has arm to park the aircraft :)

  • I have heard you can't do a loop in these. I was thinking of building an actual replica so I could do real maneuvers. I'd use a LeRhone 9C.

  • I have always been fascinated by WW-I aviation. Check out my Red Baron song on the "BicyclingGuitarist" channel here on YouTube. The lyrics and images are historically accurate, and the song rocks! I wrote it on a bicycle, lol.

btw, my mother's family is from the Kansas City area: the Hentzen and Laforge clan.

  • I want 1!!! love the way at the end just picks it up lol

  • Great !!! thanks for sharing

  • it could have been captured and re painted

  • why does the german plane look like a modified Nieuport?

  • it is a Siemens Schuckert D1. German Nieuport 11 copy with Oberursel radial engine.

  • it may be a replica of a Siemes schuckert D1 it was a copy of the french nieuport check it on google

  • Is that a Belgium Nieuport at 1:41 or a Romanian one? The markings are simular except that Belgium used Red, Yellow and Black and Romania used Red, Yellow, and Blue. I can't tell from the colour of the film.

  • If you mean the one with the shooting star on the side, its Belgian, the Nieuport 23 of Lt Edmond Thieffry, 5 me Escadrille.

  • @madcapromanian looks like it's Belgian
